They don't think of the potential consequences like failing the assignment or having to repeat the course.

I believe some students violate rule number 10, " Thou shalt use a computer in ways that show consideration and respect," because they may not realize the effects their actions can have on others. Social media is a great example because it can be used both positively and negatively.
