Stanley Hall regarded Adolescence as a period of storm and stress. At this age, adolescents experience significant changes in the pattern of growth and development. Every individual has varied experiences and coping strategies to accept, overcome, and find novel ways to interpret the world around them. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed our ecology and the lives of our young learners are severely impacted.

From the perspective of wellbeing, our children are experiencing turbulence in all domains of development and that is impacting their whole being. Carpe Diem lived upto its name. The students seized the opportunity to laugh, to smile and to make merry. There was the light hearted banter, which is hardly ever heard on normal days. Our students displayed sporty dance moves, cracked hilarious jokes and joined in the day's celebrations. It was a complete surprise event for our young learners and our teachers helped us in keeping this a big secret. 

The day started at the usual time for our learners, they joined the class at 10 am and were surprised to see their Homeroom In charge instead of their academic facilitators. Their joy knew no bounds when they realized that they have to play a game at this hour.  They were thrilled while playing the F.U.N activities and participated eagerly and enthusiastically in the game.
Both students and facilitators enjoyed the activity and happy hormones were rushing through their way. It was an unbelievable experience for them . It was fulfilling to see them happy and excited .They were very touched and grateful for the thoughtfulness of the school to give them a day's break.
