In order to quickly locate and fix the problem that had caused the website to go down, the CIO, Matt Long, made contact with the other on-call IT experts. They were unsure of which part of the IT system was to blame for the website disaster. The entire team could work together to figure out what went wrong in each of their roles in order to reduce downtime because the longer the website was down, the more money the company would lose. The CIO might have determined that the issue is complex or requires expertise beyond Tim's capabilities, so they decided to involve other on-call IT professionals to ensure a comprehensive and effective solution. This collaboration can help to address the problem more efficiently and minimize the risk of further complications or downtime.

For example, if the issue was within the servers, the server team would be able to figure it out quickly by trying to access the server, however, if they happened to be unavailable at the time, the process would take much longer, which is why it was necessary for Tim to contact them in advance and make sure they are available in order to solve the issue as soon as possible.

2. What do you imagine would be in the website disaster recovery document?

A website disaster recovery plan is planning for unexpected things that could potentially harm this business.
