So that's why you made watch this video. He had to find food like Brian did by himself so it was like that those two people were alike in some of the same like they were like they did not want to go back to the city because it will hurt their ears they can't go in the city because their nose will hurt because of the gas .

It talks of how Mick Dodge had have to survive in the wilderness and in the uncomfortable to be comfortable. We had to watch to video to make connections to the book Hatchet and Brian.

The difference between MIck Dodge and Brian is that Brian had his hatchet/tool and Mick has litteraly NOTHING! Mick has to find HIS water and Brian has the water straight in front of his shelter. Brian had his shelter and Mick had to build his. Sooooo.... On my opinion, Brian has more an advantage than Mick has by having his shelter built than building it solo style. Brian didn't really like the woods at first but later he liked it and Mick also liked the woods, so... I think that's a connection? So who has more skills in the woods... Well I think both do.

So who has the bigger skills... Well I think it's both, they had to build stuff alone and "do" stuff alone. One other connection is that they are both on a "adventure"!

But Mick has been "comfy" in the "great outdoors" , but Brian just gotten "comfy" at the end.

But the difference is Brian crashed in the woods and didn't know how to be recourceful he had every thing at his "fingertips" and there was plenty of food, water and other un-nesseities. Someother people are "un-skilled" and don't think they need to know how to survive . But Brian and mick are different , Brian was a citiy boy he had a tragic moment that took his peace in life ,like the moose , or the porcupine , or the skunk so he is more awake and alert. ADVENTURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess you wanted us to watch it because you wanted us to know how to survive in the woods with out somebody with you. You want us to know how to be in the woods with no food, no water, no other tools.

2. Brian and Mick Dodge are kind of the same because they both are in the wilderness and trying to learn how to survive in the wilderness. They both have no food, no water, no other tools. They both have no idea what to do! They both have to look for food and other materials to help them survive in the wilderness.

1.I think you made us watch this because it kind of refers to hatchet because the guy lives in the woods and has to survive in the wilderness 2.Some connections are both Brian and mick dodge both live in the wilderness and both have to survive 3.Some differences are mick dodge chose to live their but Brian was crashed landed in the wilderness and Brian is like 13 and mick dodge is like in his 80s some other differences are that Brian had water right in front of him and mick dodge had to actually go get his water

From Ms. W - Great connection as to what the differences are and what the similarities are. Great job!!

I think we watched this video because when Brian was in the woods he had to find the way to live they had to survive with different food not like food that you would eat at home or anything. He also had he find many different things to make some tools to survive in the woods.there are some different things about Brian and mick dodge.mick dodge does not have tools/hatchet like Brian did he did not have a plane that had a survival pack with food, juice, pans pots.So that's what I got from that story

In the video the man tells us how he survives in the woods. You had us watch this video because of Brian. They both live in the woods, but Mick Dodge has people around.

Some differences are that Mick Dodge states that it is harder to go back to the city. Brian didn't want to go back to the city. When Brian said "do you want something to eat" instead of being excited he was being rescued, it showed the reader that this was Brian's home. That he didn't want to leave.

Some differences are that Mick Dodge has a house. Brian crashed a plane into the wilderness and Mick Dodge chose to go into the wilderness.
