         <description><![CDATA[<div>During the start of WW1 there were many propaganda ads circling all around america&nbsp;influencing old &amp; young men around the US to join the fight in defending their country. This impacted the US socially by having over 24 million US citizens sign up and only about 3 million called to battle. This was a big step in the right direction, building the military.</div>]]></description>

This battle was said to be the most impressive battle for the U.S proving their military capabilities in the beginning of WW1. This impacted the U.S socially by gaining a major amount of respect from allied nations such as France. This also motivated more people in the U.S to join the war.</div>]]></description>

This impacted the US economically allowing and motivating them to grow extra vegetables and other things rather than meat. This is significant because it gave the US light in the dark and relief that the war was over.
