Festivals, Celebrating saints and the Virgin Mary, are common and competitive in Asturias. Asturias is well known for it's seafood, but the signature dish and of the region is the Fabada Asturian, a stew made with beans (Fabas), Shoulder of pork (lacon), Black pudding (Morcilla), & spicy sausage (Chorizo). In terms of music, the Asturian bagette, which has a single drone, is often accompanied by hand drums, whistles and accordions. A: If Carlos Bousono ever wrote poetry about anything related to his community, it was either Religion or love. In one of his more popular works, Subida al amor (Ascent to love), Carlos addresses the difficulties of faith and love.
