From A1 I have learnt how to use different lighting set ups in the studio and different camera settings.

I have learnt so far in A1 that I learnt how to set up the studio, knows how to set up the camera and tripod at the studio, know how to do the camera setting in outside know how to do the iso with different setting. Also, i enjoyed the workshop and communicate with he fashion models to show different style of poses. My favourite lighting set up is light drawing and low key lighting and i enjoyed everything.

In A1 I have learnt the setups for studio lightings, camera settings indoor and outdoor, professional communication with clients, and some basic photoshop skills. Moreover, I have practiced making some hand-made projects with creativity such as photomontage or destroying my images.

Through the A1 project I learn how to use camera, studio, and photoshop. I learn how to how to use camera setting like slow shutter speed, fast shutter speed, and aperture. I also learn how to set up the studio to get better photos. I learn lighting techniques like high key lighting for bright look, low key lighting to get that dark look, rim lighting to make the outline effect on the model, and etc. for better mood and atmosphere of the photo. I also learn photoshop skills to get create interesting photo. Overall, I enjoyed learning new skills and experimenting with new technique for my photography knowledge, it gave me confidence for my future career with photography and will use these skills in my future project and career.

what i like the most in this project was destroying images as i got to get creative as i like art alot .

I learnt how to further edit my photos in photoshop and how to use different lighting set ups.

I learned how to use the camera effectively with the different modes available such manual, shutter priority or aperture priority.

In the studio I learned how to use the camera to produce portraits in different lighting conditions for instance high key, low key, Rim or butterfly. what I liked Best is Rim lighting because it focuses in the certain area a the back of the head - hair in particular and create a trail of light at the back. I also like Low key for tis mysterious moods.

In photoshop I covered cropping and straightening images besides, levels exposure etc and I mostly enjoyed exposure because of its effect of the images.

I enjoyed street photography workshop because street photography is one of my favourite photography genre.

I have learnt who to take photos professionally as well as how to set a camera setting to a specific setting that i want.

I have also learned how to set up equipment needed in the studio.

I am able to take photos more creatively and can work on my own.

I learnt how to use the camera settings. The importance of the exposure triangle. Editing in photoshop: levels, curves crop, colour burst, lasso, double exposure and glitch. The techniques using the studio, low key, high key, butterfly, Rembrandt, light drawing and using gels. It was interesting to learn about formal elements, photomontage, gel printing, scanography, monoprinting, film posters. The assignments have helped me to learn about other photographers and styles, particularly when carrying out the street photography practical.
