In this part of the story Eddie is in the shop where Dominguez is at Ruby pier. the point of this paragraph in the story is to describe the shop and what Eddie finds unique about the place. we also learn that this is where Eddie spends most of his life working and fixing parts from rides. I choose this paragraph because its just like my work shop at home where I work with my father and we get stuff done around the house. but unlike Eddie in the story he has a bad relationship with his father and that's how he ended up working in the shop since him working there was the only thing that his father was proud of him for.

although I haven't lived a long enough life to have a true true love snap shot I still find this part of the book relatable and something I hope to have, at least known that I had good parts in life. as the book is still explaining eddies life before he dies this part is to explain one of his major parts of life which might be a foreshadow to the people he might see in heaven. another thing about this paragraph is that it seems to be the only good thing that happened in eddies life.

this has the scariest moment in the book. in this part of the book Eddie was met with a big problem on a ride called Freddy's free fall, the number 2 cart on the ride was hanging as the ride was stuck at the top. it got stuck from keys cutting the cable of the ride. Eddie was trying to fix the ride and deescalate the situation by telling people to move and get back. the girl that he's seen all season was behind him and as he was trying to save her the ride collapsed on him leading to his death. This is probably a good reason to work at a fast food business than a fair or boardwalk.

this has to be the weirdest thing you can ever see or hear about from a boardwalk or pier. I really do question who though this was right to do? in this part of the book Eddie is died in heaven but not anything people talk about. this heaven is the old pier when he was a kid. Eddie is walking around trying to find where the one person in heaven is.

this has to be the smartest thing ive heard to try to escape a pow camp. eddie was imprisoned for so long that even the fat guy in their group was skinny. they had to escape but the gaurds didn't open the door unless meals and other things they had to do with prisoners. Eddie called the people that imprisoned them and held them captive Crazy's and apparently they haven't seen entertainment because when Eddie was juggling they were so destracted it allowed them to beat them up and escape.

this makes you think a lot about how bad war is and the horsh conditions man took on. Eddie, once a chunky kid, is now thin and weak, showing the toll of their harsh conditions. The poor quality of their meals, including rice balls with grass in the broth. I have to say makes me want to throw up. The discovery of a dead hornet in the bowl symbolizes the pervasive presence of death and decay, causing the others to stop eating

Mind Blowing

this is mind blowing because so much happened in just a short time and the captain saves everybody but died in the end. the Captain waves to his men and looks up at a plane giving the felling of hope survival . This hope is shattered when a land mine explodes instantly, creating a massive heart dropping moment. The vivid and graphic imagery describes the Captain being blown apart into "a hundred chunks of charred flesh," emphasizing the chaos of the explosion.

this quote said by the captain really makes you see a different perspective on war. He said this to tell Eddie that everybody's heaven is different. this gives the impression on Eddie to wonder what his heaven is or what he want's it to be. Eddie in the end of this comment still sees war in every thing around him but he still learns a lesson about the sacrificing of a life to save a life.

this might not be a very important part to the story but it connects to one. the comment or the title of this paragraph is very shocking because it seems like its telling every body that's reading this that kid are always abuse. the more you read the more understanding you are to what he is saying and that weather verbally or physically parents effect you. in this case Eddie was very much abused by his dad in both ways that's why the auther says this.

as talked about in the image before you know that Eddie was abused by his father. in this part of the story the author tells you and shows you a example where he is hit and told that he isn't hurt. this leads to the father throwing another punch which makes no sense because its like the father wants you hurt him but Eddie block's it. this made the story interesting because as said in the story surprised his father. I feel like that would make the father get even more mad but I guess it didn't.

in the end of this part of the book, Eddie learns to forgive his father and move on with his life happier. I find this very sad because now Eddie knows why his father did all those things and also knows the he could have been a better man if he just forgave. what Eddie learn up to this point is that his father had a friend that always supported him finacaly and stick up for him so he can keep his job. the reason this lead to abusing Eddie is because the friend assalted his wife and he had to fight him, save him and never see him again which made him biuld up so much anger.

I find this comment very thoughtful and gives the reader wisdom to what finding love is or what its like. the auther states this because eddie found love but he cal it certain love since love takes up many forms. the reason he talks about this is because eddie's fourth person he meets is his wife marguerite and missing her really effected his life.

in this passage of the book Eddie and Marguerite are reunited in heaven and tell each other that they're sorry and that they miss each other. this part is really wholesome and makes you sad because it makes sense why Eddie lived a life so depressing.

Eddie even on his birthday worked this is very respectable and sad to hear but the point of this page is to show that Eddie worked hard. the lesson he learns after this page is that he saved so many kids from doing his job even when it was his birthday which is very respectable.

this is the last chapter of the book and although its not a lesson or part of a lesson, I just find the part where they fix the ride and change the name a bit concerning Because if it happened once it can happen twice.
