It was founded in 1969 in Vancouver, Canada.
Total number of volunteers is around 15000 people.
They want to help the environment, for example they want to do something about global warming. They collect money from online donations. 
They try to deal with oil drilling. Also back in the day they tried to deal with tests of nuclear weapons.
