I would say I identify as a Democrat but not really only because I thought liberals usually go towards that specific party. I would vote for Biden in the 2024 election only because I do not want want Donald Trump as my president now with his case so far

I think the government is doing too much for the economy. For example right now with the government shutdown. It's affecting everyone because Congress couldn't fund the government for the next few years. They keep pushing back the date on the shutdown which is creating tension between the parties and looking bad on the Biden Administration.

I would approve of the government run, universal health care because everyone needs to be able to have medical health and help incase of anything. This should be secured to anyone no matter what because it's needed.

the government. In school, I get taught a lot of these topics so universal health care is controversial but after hearing everyone's opinions I was able to reach to my own conclusion.

The mass media and peers/social groups. Specifically social media because there is wide variety of information that I have gain about the LGBTQ+ community and with my peer/social groups, there is alot of different opinions who have affected how I think toward the community. As someone who wants to live as themselves everyone should no matter and those in the LGBTQ+ deserve that right as well

The government and political events. In school I learn a lot about political parities so I have the information to make a decision, but as well as political events like this Donald Trump case that adds onto my thoughts and opinions in my political party and vote decision.

the government and mass media. We had an assignment for Mr. Lee so the mass media bias one which we had to look for certain media which I chose the government shutdown and immigration, a mixture of both. I learned how republicans were threatening to shut down the government if the house resolution bill did not pass and Democrats are not supporting it. It made me think about how immigration fell into all of this which affects our economy.

My family. Specifically my parents but mostly my mom because although she didn't get an abortion with my brother Alexis, she believes that it's also a right for a women to be able to have the choice. My dad didn't want her to get an abortion and stands on pro-life, but as a women and having that bond with my mom I correlate with her thoughts more.

the government and peers/social groups. In school, I learn alot about these issues through history and even current events. However, these are certain issues I talk with my friends because we are minorities that believe these issues should not be in the justice system to begin with and it's just wrong in general.

Mass media and the government. Mass media was the first time I got news of the Israel/Palestine war. Many people were encouraged to do at least something to let the world know what is going on. In Tiktok, certain filters will donate money to help and people with big platforms will share awareness as well as boycott big brands such as Starbucks, Mcdonald's, and makeup. Specifically in school, Mr. Lee gave us a whole lesson on what happened and the context with this war which helped me be educated and know what's going on in our world. #freepalestine

I don't think the government should have a say in what is taught or discussed in schools because in each state it is different what and how certain things are taught. Not every kid in the education system in the U.S learns the same thing and that is not a bad thing as each region has a different history but teaching similar subjects that will benefit the students. Also it really is a violation of the states' rights which goes against the Constitution

the government. In school in our AP Government class, I learn a lot about thee type of topics which I have only thought about when I got to this class. I learned how each state so here in NYC Mr. Lee teaches this way only in this state because it's ideal for it so he wouldn't teach it like this or talk about a certain topic in a different state/region. because of that, the states having the power to choose what to teach is ideal for the students in each state and region
