         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>DEFORESTATION</strong>: Responsible for approximately 10% of all global warming emissions.<br><strong>INCREASE IN GREENHOUSE GASES</strong>: Increasing Earth's temperatures, causing damage to protective atmosphere layers.<br><strong>MINING &amp; BURNING OF FOSSIL FUELS</strong>: Increasing Earth's temperature, mass pollution, using up vital resources that are not replaceable.<br><strong>CAR EMISSIONS</strong>: Mass pollution, increased temperatures, less breathable air and damage to protective atmospheric layers.<br><strong>USE OF CFC'S</strong>: Harming the protective atmospheric layer that keeps the sun's rays from damaging both the planet and species living here.<br><strong>MIGRATION/ADAPTATION/EXTINCTION FOR POPULATIONS IN THEIR NATIVE ECOSYSTEMS</strong>: Changing landscapes, using up vital resources, polluting soil and water.<br><strong>INCREASE IN FACTORIES</strong>: Mass pollution, increased temperatures, extreme weather patterns.<br><strong>INCREASE IN CENTRALIZED LIVESTOCK</strong>: Mass pollution, over-using water, causing disease and less-healthy animals. Polluting the air with methane gases.<br><strong>INTRODUCTION OF INVASIVE SPECIES</strong>: Destroying natural ecosystems and resources. <br><strong>OVERUSE OF MATERIALS</strong>: Mass pollution and waste. Using natural resources such as trees, rocks, and soil so quickly that they cannot be replenished.<br><strong>COMMERCIAL FISHING</strong>: Changing the oceans, lakes and rivers by removing mass amounts of species vital to those ecosystems. <br><br><br></div>]]></description>

Mining of oil in oceans causes disruption to ocean floor and pollution to ocean including oil spills.<br><strong>CAR EMISSIONS</strong>: Polluting of water.<br><strong>CHANGE IN ECOSYSTEM TEMPS</strong>:<br><strong>USE OF CFC'S</strong>: Polluting of water.<br><strong>MIGRATION/ADAPTATION/EXTINCTION FOR POPULATIONS IN THEIR NATIVE ECOSYSTEMS</strong>: Loss of critical species, changing of ecosystems leading to barren bodies of water. Ecosystem disruption, loss. Marine life migration/extinction.<br><strong>INCREASE IN EXTREME</strong> <strong>WEATHER PATTERNS</strong>: Acid rain, stronger natural disasters such as huge hurricanes and storms. Flooding and changes in fresh water and salt water salinity. <br><strong>OVERUSE OF MATERIALS</strong>: Polluted waters, using too much water making it scarce.<br><strong>COMMERCIAL FISHING</strong>: Polluting waters.
