....responsibilities.

This is an important civics concept, because responsibilities are the core basis of civic themselves. We must keep up the values our country was based on, and this requires contributions from everyone. An example of citizen responsibilities is voting.
I chose Assignment 5.1 because it goes into the most detail to show my understanding of citizen responsibilities.

This is an important concept, because every single person should know that they can make a difference and that their contribution is needed and important.
I chose Assignment 5.9, because along with my interview's answers and opinions, others put theirs too for questions about voters in Hawaii. Many of the interviewee's answers including mine about low voter turnout talk about how voters probably think their votes won't make a difference.

....the 6 principles of gov.

This is an important concept, because these principles are the true foundation of our country, let alone civics. These principles are popular sovereignty, checks and balances, separation of powers, federalism, limited government, and judicial review.
I chose Assignment 3.3, because though we studied the 6 principles for a while, I think this one shows my understanding the best. It has descriptions of each of the six, along with a fitting picture for each.

In conclusion, this class has been very educational in many ways and taught me a lot about civics and government. I will take a lot away from here and continue to remember it. Thank you Mrs. Mathurin!

For the wallpaper, it was supposed to represent diversity and differences still being unified, but it cut off the picture haha.

For the 2 point extra credit:
Yes, we have used very many web tools during this class. I have learned skills like working with slow processing websites, dealing with new formats, and having to think intuitively and to problem solve in order to find out how to work different programs and sites.
