What this source tells you{inference}:When food shortage occur,the Japanese planned to evacuate 300,000 people from Syonan to Southern Malai to farm food.
Evidence:The welfare officer in the Japanese administration,created farming communities and are meant to be self-sufficient

Source 1 tells me that British surrender to the Japanese which means that Japanese government will take care of the country which they called it Syonan.
Source 3 tells me that Locals follow the Japanese custom by bowing to the Japanese flag as a sign of respect and be obedience towards them.Those who disobey will be killed and the worst part of all is they will torture them till their death.
The locals government school system changes as Japanese Language was taught and they NEED to learn about Japanese culture such as listening to their songs or even maintain their physical health.
The local communities that farm for the Japanese  are free from their supervision and some join in order to seek a safe haven from the Japanese Authorities.
Last but not least the Japanese are trying to stop those who is Anti-Japanese,firstly,they target the Chinese and all Chinese men age 18-50 must report to the Mass Screening at Stamford Road to be examined ,The sad thing is those Men who is suspected as Anti-Japanese who works for the British Government will be taken to Changi Beach to be tortured or kill.
