The most important thing that we, as citizens, can learn from the evolution of our government is that change will happen and so in turn we too must change in order to keep up. What I mean by this is that political systems will continue to change so citizens must stay informed and up to date on everything that the government does. We know from history that sometimes the government isn't right and when that occurs we have to fight against corruption and wrongdoings. We also know that as the government changes so will the political parties and so citizens need to inform themselves about what each party stands for and wants the future of the government to look like instead of just voting with the party that they did in the last election. Our knowledge of parties can help us vote because each party's job is to inform the citizens of their policies, future plans, and ideas in order to gain support for the election. We as citizens should look at all parties present and what their main platform is to make a decision about who we think is best fit to run our country.

Since our government, specifically the political system is always changing, we can learn to not make definite opnions on certain political parties. Although these major political parties make it easier for voters to align their beliefs/opinions on certain subjects, these beliefs for specific party representatives are always changing. This representatives can always change the evolution of their party, therefore we should learn to always be educating ourselves and others around us on certain political parties. Keeping yourself updated with the political parties also keeps you involved, with the addition of keeping up with the evolution and history of political parties. We can make our knowledge of parties to make informed decisions as keeping yourself educated makes it easier to vote, with this you are also making sure who you are voting for aligns with what you want to happen, with laws, and the person in office representing you as a person.

We can learn many things from the evolution of our political system. We can see what people in different time periods supported. From a strong central government to slavery, people opinions continuously change. With that political parties standings and belief's change over time. Which means the party you supported 20 years ago may not stand for the same ideas anymore. In fact they may stand for the exact opposite of your beliefs. In order to keep support from the majority while also keeping there values, parties will often change how they view certain policies and laws in order to gain the publics favor. Knowing this we should be up to date on what the party's beliefs and ideals are. This can help us choose who we support and vote for. It is better to review the person who you want to vote for rather than just voting for someone based on what party they are a part of. This will help you choose who you think is best and who support your ideals and beliefs.

Our political system is ever changing and we as citizens can learn a lot from its past evolutions. Our countries parties evolve based on the needs, values, and challenges of the time. By recognizing these changes, we can have a better understanding of political parties and the part they play in our current political climate. Knowing what each party currently stands for helps us to compare our own beliefs and values. This way, we can be apart of a party that alligns the same way. Not only that but by understanding how parties respond to current issues and how they've acted in the past, we can gain insight into their values and potential future decisions. All in all, by staying aware of the state of the political parties, we can make decisions that allign with our personal beliefs and help to strengthen democracy.

Our ever-evolving political system shows us that change is constant and how that’s actually a good thing. Over time, as our system's become more complex and reflects what people care about during different time periods. By learning about how parties have changed, split, or grown, we can better understand how our government works and what influences decisions being made today. Knowing this stuff helps us be smarter voters; When we understand what different parties believe and how they’ve shifted over time, we don’t vote just based on a label, we vote based on what really matters to us. We can look at candidates more closely, recognize what’s just political talk and what’s actually going to impact people, and make choices that reflect what we want for the future. Basically, the more we know, the better decisions we can make.

As we look at the evolution of our political system, we can learn about societies adaption to the changing needs and values of the people. Over time we see how political parties have shifted their platforms in response to social movements, economical changes, and cultural transformations. When we study these shifts per say we could better understand the historical roots of today's political issues and what decisions are more for the voters. For example, as we study past movements for civil rights, labor reforms, etc, we see the influence they have on party platforms which allow is to evaluate the policies of parties through a deeper historical lens. If we understand the role of third parties, the impact political polarization can have and the influence of media on campaigns will help navigate the political landscape of today. The knowledge empowers us to align our values with the political forces that best represent our interests while we recognize the importance of moderation and compromise for voter engagement to create a healthier democracy. -Billie Leet

As the political climate shifts from year to year, the political system also changes to keep up with the times. This proves an important lesson that not every rule or system will be the best option forever. We must know how to adapt to new situations and learn how to best respond, and politically, sometimes that means new legislation, leaders, etc. By examining political parties, voters can make more informed decisions. For example, identifying yourself with a specific party, and then learning about and voting for a leader of that party, you know that you moral and political views more or less align with that leader’s views. By understanding that politics is a nuanced and ever-changing field, we are better able to pinpoint which issues are most impactful and most important to us, and separate it from the less impactful, therefore we can insightful voting decisions.

As our political system evolves, there are many lessons to be learned. The political system shifts as times and views change, which can sometimes cause conflicts and changes. From the evolution of our political system we can learn that adaptation is a good thing. If our political system stayed the same as it was when it was first created, it would be incredibly ineffective in modern times. It is important for the political system to continue to adapt as society does as well. We can use our knowledge of parties to make informed decisions as voters by researching each party and making informed decisions based on what beliefs each party has, and what beliefs you hold as a person.
