He also wanted to join nations and take over Austria because they also spoke a form of German. I know that they also kept the Japanese captive in one place to stop the spread of information of the problems with Japan. It could have been caused by the fact that because of WW 1 and that they had to give up land to the U.S. and that he wanted to give the people jobs and hope but he lied about that part. The Great Depression effected Germany in a very harsh way and they wanted to earn power and force back again that the U.S. look from them as Hitler saw in his point of view. Hitler wanted to kill anyone that wasn't white and thought people with blue eyes and blonde hair with white skin was the perfect race. He also killed millions of Jewish people because of his hate of them not being of his religion or race.
