Sleep- Different processes that occur during sleep help to promote healthy brain activity and maintain good overall health.

Eat- A healthy diet helps children grow and develop properly and reduces their risk of chronic diseases. Adults who eat a healthy diet live longer and have a lower risk of obesity, heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and certain cancers. Healthy eating can help people with chronic diseases manage these conditions and avoid complications.

Exercise- Being physically active can improve your brain health, help manage weight, reduce the risk of disease, strengthen bones and muscles, and improve your ability to do everyday activities.

Stress free- Effective stress management helps you break the hold stress has on your life, so you can be happier, healthier, and more productive. The ultimate goal is a balanced life, with time for work, relationships, relaxation, fun, and having the resilience to hold up under pressure and meet challenges head on.

Avoid drugs- Use of drugs have many negative effects on people it can cause mood swings, increased aggression, insomnia, memory problems, reduced appetite, liver problems, kidney problems, heart problems, cancer, dental health problems, mental health issues, psychosis, and social problems. Usage of drugs can also lead to overdosing.

Weight control- Achieving a healthy weight can help you control your cholesterol, blood pressure and blood sugar. It might also help you prevent weight-related diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes, arthritis and some cancers.

Save sex for marriage- Some side effects of sex are sexually transmitted infections (STIs) or accidental pregnancy.

Sleep- Short sleep duration and later weekday bedtime were associated with mood, anxiety, substance use, and other behavior disorders, as well as smoking and poorer perceived mental and physical health.

Eat- Studies have even found that clean diets consisting of mainly whole, unprocessed foods, can help with symptoms of depression and anxiety.

Exercise- Exercise releases chemicals like endorphins and serotonin that improve your mood. It can also get you out in the world, help to reduce any feelings of loneliness and isolation, and put you in touch with other people.

Stress free- When stress becomes overwhelming and prolonged, the risks for mental health problems and medical problems increase. Long-term stress increases the risk of mental health problems such as anxiety and depression, substance use problems, sleep problems, pain and bodily complaints such as muscle tension.

Avoid drugs- If you use alcohol or drugs for a long time it can cause serious issues for your mental well-being. Drugs can make you more unwell and more likely to try and harm yourself or take your own life. There is also some evidence that using some drugs may cause mental illness for the first time. For example, research has shown that cannabis can increase your chances of developing psychosis or a psychotic disorder.

Weight control- Weight bias and poor body image tend to go hand-in-hand. Patients may internalize society’s stigma against obesity, which causes them to feel embarrassed about their weight and dissatisfied with their appearance. People who struggle with excess weight may also experience anxiety over being judged for how they look. There are also obesity-related health factors that can negatively influence mental health. Research suggests that excess body fat and poor eating habits increase inflammatory markers. This heightened inflammation can lead to a higher risk of developing depression and also plays a role in immune system health.

Save sex for marriage- While some studies find that these relationships enhance adolescents’ emotional well-being and claim that high-quality relationships are linked with lower levels of depression and anxiety, studies indicate quite the opposite, that depression levels and substance problems actually increase.

Sleep- Sleep and mood are closely connected; poor or inadequate sleep can cause irritability and stress, while healthy sleep can enhance well-being. Chronic insomnia may increase the risk of developing a mood disorder, such as anxiety or depression.

Eat- When you stick to a diet of nutrient-rich foods, you're setting yourself up for fewer mood swings and an improved ability to focus.

Exercise- "We hear a lot that exercise and mood are connected. What we don't know for sure is whether being physically active can improve emotional well-being, or if we simply move less when we feel sad or depressed," says Choi.

Stress free- Emotional symptoms of stress include: Becoming easily agitated, frustrated, and moody. Feeling overwhelmed, as if you are losing control or need to take control. Having a hard time relaxing and quieting your mind.

Avoid drugs- Drugs affect a part of the brain known as the limbic system. This is the area responsible for processing our emotions. Drug-related changes to this area can contribute to depressed mood, mood swings, emotional outbursts, and persistent irritability.

Weight control- The psychological benefits of weight loss may include positive changes such as: Improved feelings of self-esteem and body image. Decreased feelings of depression. Feelings of accomplishment.

Save sex for marriage- Sharing sexual intimacies outside of marriage inevitably invites emotional unrest and heartache. Anyone who has ever been used for a night of momentary pleasure knows the emotional pain associated with such indulgences. Deception, regret, and self disgust often accompany the experience of inappropriately sharing sexual intimacies with another. Peace of heart and mind is the rich reward of saving sex for marriage.

UC Berkeley researchers have found that sleep-deprived people feel lonelier and less inclined to engage with others, avoiding close contact in much the same way as people with social anxiety.

Eat- Because eating well can help you feel better physically and emotionally, it can make you more likely to seek and enjoy social activities.

Exercise- Increased confidence, peer acceptance, leadership skills, and empathy; these are just four of the social benefits children receive from sports and physical activity. These four benefits can have a significant effect on a child's health, happiness, and future.

Stress free- Stress often affects our social lives. When undergoing high-level or persistent stress, individuals frequently retract from social interactions and become irritable and hostile.

Avoid drugs- Drugs can also cause users to become paranoid about their relationships, like thinking that their friends are turning against them. Drug users may even become aggressive and violent toward other people, even their family and friends.

Weight control- Kids who ate healthier diets showed more friendliness and social play than kids who didn't.

Save sex for marriage- Researchers found that those who wait to have sex until marriage, compared to those who don't, report significantly higher realtionship satisfaction (20%), better communication patterns (12%), less consideration of divorce (22%), and BETTER sexual quality (15%)2.

Smoking – Cigarette smoking is the leading risk factor for sudden cardiac death. Smokers have two to four times the risk of nonsmokers. According to the Framingham Heart Study, nonsmokers live seven to eight years longer than a smoker. Second-hand smoke is considered as big a risk factor as smoking.

High Blood Pressure – Called the "silent killer" since it has few observational symptoms. Normal blood pressure recommendation for all individuals is 120/80 or below. Continued high blood pressure can cause damage to the artery walls and increase the cholesterol buildup, causing plaque (atherosclerosis) in the artery. It also can lead to heart failure.

Abnormal Blood Lipids (cholesterol levels) – Cholesterol is a fat-like substance found in our cells. It is necessary for cell development. Our bodies produce cholesterol, and we also obtain it in our diets by eating animal foods, such as meat, eggs and dairy products. High cholesterol contributes to the build-up of plaque in the artery walls. Recommended total cholesterol is below 200. The ideal is less than 160. The optimal LDL (known as the bad cholesterol) level is less than 70. HDL (known as the good cholesterol) optimal levels should be above 40.

Overweight – Excess weight can increase your risk for having heart disease. Men who have a waistline of 40 inches or more and women 35 inches or more are at higher risk.

Physical Inactivity – People who are inactive are at a greater risk for having heart disease. Regular physical activity can help reduce your risk of heart disease, shed extra pounds, control blood pressure, lower blood cholesterol levels and assist with maintaining emotional wellness. Being physically active at least 30 minutes a day is recommended by the American College of Sports Medicine and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the American Heart Association.

Uncontrollable Diabetes – Diabetes, or high blood sugar, can significantly increase the risk of coronary heart disease. Eighty percent of diabetics die from some form of cardiovascular disease. Maintaining a blood sugar level below 110 is important.

Reaction to Stress – Stress may be the greatest single cause of illness in our world. Stress events are often unavoidable, but how we deal with that stress is important to our health. Prolonged emotional stress is likely to accelerate the build-up of plaque along artery walls, cause blood cholesterol and blood pressure to rise and increase susceptibility to illness. Learning to manage stress is essential. Types "A" with the "hot reactor" personalities have a tendency to have a higher risk for heart disease.

https://www.hendrickhealth.org/services/heart-vascular/risk-factors-warning-signs/

There is growing recognition that social risk factors – such as poverty, minority race and/or ethnicity, social isolation, and limited community resources – play a major role in health, and significant gaps remain in health and in life expectancy based on poverty, race, ethnicity, and community environment. At the same time, the health care system is moving towards value-based or alternative payment models, which tie payment to the quality and efficiency of health care delivered. These models are in place in nearly all Medicare settings, including in hospitals, outpatient settings, and post-acute facilities.

https://aspe.hhs.gov/topics/health-health-care/social-risk-factors-medicares-value-based-purchasing-programs

Of all the human body systems, the effect of physical activity on the immune system seems to spark the most debate among experts and scientists. It is now believed that physical activity helps to strengthen the immune system. The general theory is that exercise increases the cells, and even gut microbiota, in your body that help fight disease. When a person exercises, the effect of enhancing the immune system lasts for several hours. There is evidence, however, that exercising for over two hours may actually cause a short-term weakening of the immune system. On the other hand, more intense physical activity for only about 30 minutes may not weaken the system. The evidence suggests that, if a person exercises for too long and doesn't rest enough, the immune system can suffer. The secret seems to be in finding a healthy balance between exercise and rest. More study will be needed to fully understand the connection between exercise and the immune system.

https://study.com/academy/lesson/effects-of-physical-activity-on-body-systems.html#:~:text=Of%20all%20the%20human%20body,to%20strengthen%20the%20immune%20system.
