Willard Asylum

The Willard Asylum is an abandoned asylum located in Willard, New York. This was a place for those considered Chronic Insane, most of it’s patients died in the facility, The asylum was closed in 1995, years of history were left behind. The old morgue still stands, according to people those who died at Willard still haunt the place.

Myrtle's Plantation

The Myrtles plantation is located in St. Francisville, Louisiana. The house is supposed to be one of the most haunted places in the United States. It is thought that 10 people died in the house but only one death was confirmed. William Drew Winter died after being shot outside the house by a stranger, after being shot he crawled inside and up the stairs, dying on the 17th step. It is said that William Drew Winter still haunts the house and some people claim they have heard his footsteps trying to climb the stairs.

Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum

This abandoned asylum located in Weston, West Virginia, is said to be haunted by the ghosts of the patients who died there. Gruesome therapies were used at the time in the asylum, the patients were locked, chained and left unattended. The asylum was finally closed in 1994, nowadays ghost tours and ghost hunts take place in the abandoned building.

Honestly, one of my favorite albums. Not only is Ryan Gosling one of the members, but it is also delightfully upbeat and creepy. Super inspirational if you like to listen to music while you write.
