- Economic
Increase in price for local goods. Tourists would pay a lot of money for goods they need but local people living in that area have to pay more money for everyday goods they need.Lack of product. Expensive housing because they may be in an area of high touris. Seasonal jobs. Local people have jobs once in a while and dont get enough money to buy everyday things.
-Social
Erode traditional values. When we introduce foreign elements traditional values can be eroded. Crime rate such as theft and assault can affect areas with high tourism.
-Environmental
Strain on resources such as energy, water and food. Soil erosion and pollution. there are a lot more pollution going in the water and pollution coming from cars going to the atmosphere. Dangers for animals and plants. Sometimes habitats are cleared for tourism hotels making animals have no where to live. Deforestation is happening which can be for hotel development or for fun fairs.

There are also a lot of
negative impacts.

Economic
Increase in prices, tourist will buy more thus, the locals will make it more expensive. Shop will make products just for tourists so no more goods for locals. Housing prices, in areas that are popular, housing becomes more expensive which makes it more difficult for locals. Jobs become seasonal, they will need more people in full season but they will have no more job in the not season.

Social
Erode traditional values, when they introduce foreign elements it can erode traditional values because they can clash. Increase in crime rate, tourists can be target for crime. It can also lead to increase drug and alcohol because tourists are going with party attitude. It can also increase prostitution.

Environmental
Strain on resources, we already have scarce resources and more tourism leads to even more strain. Another fact could be soil erosion and pollution. This is because of the increase of car traffic because of tourism. Car traffic can also lead to soil erosion. Dangers for animals and plants. Increase dangers because of tourists. Animals have the need to live in a specific place and because of tourists it can be removed or destroyed. Deforestation, forests get cleared for tourism, which is a big environmental consequence because of tourism.

Thanks
Peter

Economic, financial and environmental.

Economics
Tourism leads to an increase in price for local goods. Makes it harder for locals to buy food. Shops will stop products to satisfy tourists needs and lack or product for the locals. Housing prices become very expensive and makes it harder for locals to buy houses in popular places. There are lots of local people in the tourist industry will lose there jobs in the low season because there are not very many tourist and in the high season there are lots of tourists.

Social
Tourism can erode traditional values. It can conflict with the cultural and religious. There is an increase in crime rate in places with lots of tourists because they are an easy target. There are some tourist which buy drugs and alcohol and touristic areas promote prostitution because there is an increased demand from the tourists.

Environment
There is a strain in resources, such as energy, water and food, which are already scarce. Soul erosion and pollution is caused from tourists, there is more traffic and rubbish on beaches. There is an increased soul erosion from the construction on the coast. Tourists make it so that there is a higher chance of endangering animals and plants. Such as, ivory which tourists make an extremely large demand from killing more and more elephants. Also tourists cause deforestation due to housing and products to keep tourists visiting there countries and buying places to earn money even though it causes deforestation.

Liam
