To achieve his goals he had to commit to regular training that was challenging, both physically and mentally. To achieve his goal, Jay had to be committed and determined and follow through with a plan that was set out by himself and Frosty.
Personal example- I want to become a teacher. To be able to study I had to work hard and save money for the past two years, so that I would be able to pay bills and feed myself while studying.

Jay showed his ability to persevere by staying calm and using the breathing training that Frosty taught him. Without the skills he learnt he for sure would have died.

In year 6 I trained everyday after school for my school cross country. During the race at times I felt it hard to breath but I carried on and persevered none the less and it paid off because I came 5th place in the end.

My Example: My grandmother died in 2018. She had cancer, strokes, and a fall which broke her leg. She spent some time in hospital and then the rest of her life in a rest home. Throughout the movie we see moments of loyalty and breaking of loyalty. A moment of loyalty is that Jay's girlfriend who I will call Karen as I don't remember her name. So Karen was very loyal to Jay she swam in that pool with him, she went to that beach and was told by Frosty's wife to keep Jay close. Karen followed what she was told to do. Jay and karen were happily married until Jay died. This means that Karen was loyal till death. 

PERSONAL EXAMPLE:
There are few people in my life that I feel are loyal to me. But one of those is my pet dog Elvis. Elvis is always there for me. He keeps me warm by sleeping on my bed. He hangs out with me, and he gives me unconditional love and in return I am loyal to him. I take him for walks, I let him out to pee even when its raining, and I give him food when he wants it which is often as he is quite a greedy dog. This incident made me question my life and how I was living and being selfish.
