Chernobyl

Chernobyl

In the first episode of the serie, there is an explosion in reactor 4 in chernobyl because of comrade Dyatlov he is a scientist who works at to the reactor in chernobyl. After the explosion the soviet leaders do not care about it too much, they think about it just a simple explosion we can handle it easily. After the explosion of course a fire starts at the reactor. A lot of firemen wakes up at midnight from their beds and they go to the reactor because of their job. After the explosion radiation rises and radiation level increases in the city of chernobyl.

In the second episode of the serie, it starts with an council meeting. In this meeting we see some soviet experts about the reactors and we see some politicians in the meeting. In the meeting 90 percent scientists peak and fight with words and politiancs listen them and they decide to what is goingt to in chernobyl. End of the meeting they decide to send there 2 men. These 2 guys are the main characters of our serie, actually not directly the main characters but mostly we watch them in the serie. Comrade Legasov is one of them and he is a scientist, he is an expert about nuclear reactors. The other character is the Boris Scherbina basicly we can say comrade Scherbina and he is a soviet politican, he is an important man.

In this 3 episodes, we mostly watch one thing. Comrade legasov think and talks somethings that has to be done. Comrade Scherbina

listen and he gave the orders. With an oversimplified way the 3 episodes are like that.

The last three episodes of Chernobyl show the true cost of the nuclear disaster. In Episode 3, many workers and scientists risk their lives to stop the fire and limit the damage. Miners are sent to dig under the plant to prevent a bigger explosion. Their work is dangerous, but they do it with courage. At the same time, we see the human side of the disaster. Lyudmilla visits her husband, a firefighter dying from radiation. Her love is strong, but her visit also puts her unborn child in danger.

In Episode 4, the area around Chernobyl is evacuated. Soldiers are ordered to kill animals to stop the spread of radiation. We also meet Ulana Khomyuk, a scientist who wants to find out the truth. She interviews people and discovers that the reactor explosion was not just a mistake - it was also caused by a poor design that no one wanted to talk about.

The final episode, Episode 5, focuses on the trial. Legasov, the main scientist, explains how the explosion happened. He shows that both human error and the reactor’s bad design were the reasons. Even though the government wants to hide the truth, Legasov speaks honestly. Because of this, he is punished. The episode ends with real photos and facts about the people who helped during the crisis.

These episodes remind us that truth is important, even when it is hard. Many people showed great bravery, and their stories must be remembered.

Today I’m going to talk about the movie Nowhere. Has anyone seen it?

The film begins with a married couple who are forced to leave their country due to a problem in their homeland. The woman is also pregnant.

They travel in a van, but during the journey, the couple is forced to separate, and the woman continues on her own.

After some time, the van falls into the sea, and the woman’s struggle for survival begins. At the same time, she gives birth.

Due to starvation, she eats raw fish and even her own placenta. She goes through a lot of hardships but eventually manages to get out of that place.

Then, a phone rings .it’s her husband calling, and she learns that he’s been shot. She’s about to give up, but just then, a ship approaches and rescues her and her baby.

That’s the summary of the film. What really impressed me was how strong and resilient the woman was she never gave up.

Emine Sultan Karakullukçu VEM 6

However, thanks to a mysterious gravity anomaly, he discovers a secret NASA project.

NASA is looking for a new planet for humans to live on. For this purpose, Cooper travels to other galaxies through a "wormhole" with a group of scientists to find other habitable planets in space. Themes such as relativity of time, humanity, love and sacrifice are discussed throughout the film.

While Cooper and his team have to make difficult decisions, time passes much faster on Earth. Cooper's daughter Murph grows up on Earth in the meantime and tries to save humanity by following the traces left by her father.
