         <description><![CDATA[<div>In 1926, a collection of gold ornaments, including the  gold armlet shown on the right, was discovered at Fort Canning Hill. The ornaments have been dated to the mid-14th century. This armlet has he design of Kala, the Hindu god representing time and destruction.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Sri Tri Buana or Sang Utama died in 1347 after a reign of 48 years. He was buried on the hill of Singapura, called Bukit Larangan or the 'Forbidden Hill' (present-day Fort Canning Hill) He was suceeded by his son Paduka Sri Pikrama Wira<br>In the late 1340s, during the reign of Paduka Sri Pikrama Wira, the east Javanese Kingdom of Majapahit claimed superiority over Singapura. It attacked Singapura because Paduka Sri Pikrama Wira showed indifference to Majapahit's wish to be overlord of Singapura.<br>Paduka Sri Pikrama Wira died in 1362 after a reign of 15 years, and was succeeded by his son Sri Rama Wikerma.<br>Sri Rama Wikerma died in 1375, and was succeeded by his son, who acknowledged the overship of Siamese over Tamasek or Singapura.          <description><![CDATA[<div><br></div><div>Dear Diary,</div><div>Today, I did an interesting project on Singapore's political connections,economic connections and defense before 1819!</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Balinese or Javanese.They traded a gold armlet with design of Kala which represents time and destruction.Singapore also traded porcelain-stem cups with the Chinese from China.The porcelain-stem cups were produced in Yuan Dynasty before 1819.On top of that, I found out that Singapore's defence was strong as they had spearheads to hunt animals.Singapore also used spearheads to fight with enemies for defense.Lastly, I found out that Majaphit Kingdom claimed superiority against Singapore and attacked Singapore.Bye diary,see you tomorrow!<br><br>Word count</div>]]></description>
