On this day we flew to the long-awaited Prague where we were met by our exchange students. We purchased travel cards and went home, where we met the family and I noticed that they sort garbage, which I really liked. We spent the evening in the company of our Czech friends trying Czech traditional food.

The beginning of Tuesday was a trip to school where we met the children's teachers, showed presentations and had a fun time exploring the school and having lunch in the school canteen. After which we visited the museum of “Prague Waterworks”where it was interesting and educational, the program ended with us taking a walk in the park where I was able to go inside the Gothic cathedral, which was breathtakingly beautiful . We spent our free time walking around the main square of Prague. I will add that during the visit to the museum I managed to learn a couple of new words like concrete, copper.

On Wednesday we spent a lot of time walking around the zoo and doing tasks, it was exciting and brought us quite closer together and also gave us a lot of new information regarding biology and geography. This was followed by a walk through the old town with a short historical program from Czech students. We walked along the Charles Bridge and drank coffee.

Thursday was a very green and environmentally friendly day as we visited many related to this places, first the agricultural museum and then a shopping center with an eco-exhibition on the roof. A very useful, educational and enjoyable day.

Friday was my favorite day because on this day we explored the city and its attractions and since I am interested in architecture and especially Gothic, I was very excited to see St. Vitus Cathedral, unfortunately we could not go inside but I saw and enjoyed it from the outside . We also completed tasks and took part in a little orienteering which also helped to learn new information and see something interesting.

We spent Saturday in the company of our exchange students with some others. The Czechs showed us several attractions, or rather the dancing house and the market, we walked, played games, tried the national dessert and visited the museum. Calm and comfortable day.(at the photo is a house which we saw on Saturday and i thought might be related to ecology)

A fairly eventful day that began with a laser game ,which also brought us closer together, and the day ended with a farewell evening at the bowling alley where we shared our impressions, recalled funny moments and discussed educational questions.( i also spent a good time in my host family:)

On Monday I said goodbye to my host family, my exchange student walked me to the airport, we thanked each other for everything, for the impressions and memories given and said that we would look forward to seeing all of them in Latvia.
