It is about 29,035 feet high. <br><br>Mount Everest is located between Nepal and Tibet which is a region in china.<br><br>The warmest average daytime tempature in july is -2 (F). In January which is the coldest month  tempatures average up to -33F and can drop as low as -76F.<br><br>The peak was named after British surveyor George Everest in 1856.<br><br>Helicopters can fly higher than the summit of Everest but landing to take on a passenger or body is dangerous.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Mount Everest is the worlds tallest mountain.Mountain Everest was named after George Everest, a former surveyor of General India in the 19th century. In the year 1856 the first records of the Mountains came in. Although it is the tallest mountain, it's height has changed over time. Additionally, there have been mountain guides in the mountain referred to as sherpas. Sherpas are people and culture native to the Himalayan region of Nepal and China. Lastly, the first people to be recorded to climb the mountain were Edmund Hillary (a mountaineer from New Zealand) and his Tibetan guide Tenzing Norgay.</div>]]></description>
