Emphasizing the Significance of Ethical Judgment as a Meaningful Norm:

Ethical judgment holds significant importance for elementary child educators. This judgment acts as a guiding norm, always prioritizing the best interests of the child, and adhering to codes and standards in determining their conduct. It deeply influences both their professional lives and daily activities, continually striving for appropriate ethical judgments.

RECE has a business relationship with a child’s family member, a colleague or supervisee outside of the workplace setting. In this case the RECE has both a professional and business relationship with that individual.

Is a personal relationship. The dual relationship exists because the RECE has two relationships—professional and personal—with a child’s family member, a colleague or supervisee.
