항의자들은 자본주의 경제위기의 원인은 탐욕스러운 금융자본과 부패한 정치인들에게 있다고 하면서 <자본주의를 반대한다>, <일자리를 달라> 등의 구호들을 외치면서  빈곤과 경제적 불평등을 전국적으로 청산할 것을 조장했습니다.
