Specific:
1. My main objective after seeing my grades in the first term is to continue getting good marks by consistently working hard in class and studying.
2. I should still work a lot on time management since I get heavily bombarded with tasks from other subjects which makes me very unorganized.

3. My third objective is to still broaden my knowledge of new subjects and improve my capacity for problem-solving. Although some topics in math seem easy, I should always look for ways to help me solve problems quicker to avoid getting time pressured in tests.
4. I also considered to keep on taking notes and arranging them to make learning more effective.

Measureable:
Looking at the outcomes of different assignments allows me to keep track of my progress. I'll be able to fortify those aspects of my life so that I can work harder on my next responsibilities.

Attainable:
My plan to achieve these goals are to:
1. During my leisure time, I read math books and do math studies.
2. Creating a timetable for when I should do various tasks
3. Read math topics in advance to have an initial understanding
4. Organize myself and make notes as I go.
My teacher can help me by letting me know where I need to improve so I can focus more on that particular subject.
My parents, especially my dad, can assist me anytime I am having trouble grasping a certain concept in order to better comprehend it. (because my father is great at math)

Relevant:
These objectives are significant to me because they aid in my academic success and improve my aptitude for math learning. As soon as I finish or achieve these goals, I may become a better student and keep getting excellent grades.

Time-bound:
I think I could achieve these goals in the span of a few months. This is due to the fact that I still need time to train and get better. There may be instances when I don't maintain my development and go back to the beginning. So that I can become acclimated to it and possibly accomplish all of my goals this year, I need to concentrate and practice for a very long period.

One topic that I figured very difficult for me this term is our lesson in polynomial functions. It was difficult for me as it was my first time to encounter it (since we only had linear and quadratic functions). I had trouble solving for zeroes, y-intercepts, graphing, factoring and simplifying and more. The synthetic division method also frazzled me. In addition to that, the theorems at first made it harder since it was such an information overload. However, I was able to overcome this by simply taking my time in reviewing the basic concepts step by step. After awhile, I was able to understand the theorems I took note and apply them while solving. In addition to that, I practiced online worksheets in order to test my speed in solving, especially in doing compressed synthetic division tables. Cerebry was also a great help for me to further test my capabilities in this topic.

One misconception I had encountered was in our topic of Measures of Dispersion. After leaning all of the basic terms, we discussed about coefficient of variation. "The coefficient of variation (CV) is the ratio of the standard deviation to the mean." It was easy to solve, but I did not understand what it meant. Because of that, I got deductions in one of our quizzes, since I understood that the higher the percentage of the CoVar, the more consistent the scores are. But then I remembered that it is just the relation of the Standard deviation to the mean, which also means that the higher the Standard dev is, the more dispersed the scores are. So I just looked back at the discussion slides in order to address this misconception and I then fully understood what it meant.

I consider this as one of my best works as the score reflects my hardwork during this module. Although they clarified that they purposely made it the easiest test among all topics, I still felt proud of myself as I was able to get not only a perfect score, but also a plus one. This will greatly benefit me in pulling my scores up as the other long tests were both -5.

This is also considered as one of my best works because I was able to finish it in under 10 minutes only. Even though the lessons was new to us, I felt proud as I was able to understand it pretty quickly, therefore having an advantage in the second long test.

When reviewing for one of our long tests, me, Jelo, and Rhian were solving different problems in this worksheet. We were able to discuss our answers and some of our mistakes in order to have a deeper method of practice. Jelo was really able to explain how his methods were able to help him, and he taught me how to solve quicker and gave me some problems of his own.
