         <title>Wk 10 : Task 9: Screening: Unit 6 (3.1)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>15.01<br>Over the duration of this week we our group have been filming and pushing to finish the final project. On the Wednesday we went to the local park to film the smoke bombs that we got for the music video. On the Thursday we also went out again to get final shots of the trees to finalise our final project.We knew exactly what to do because we planned this out previously which gave us a clear idea of what we needed to finish/ still do. As a director I made sure I was telling people what they still needed to do. For example I made sure the shot was in place and the camera operator had the correct angles and make sure we was all working as a team to get this as best we possibly can. Me and the editor have started editing to make sure we are up to speed with everything which is good as we thought we wouldn't be able to start editing till next week, so our group is happy with that.&nbsp;</div><div><br>This week was a learning curve as not everything went to plan as, within the video and production tasks. We had major issues with the weather as it was raining for the duration of the week and this caused us to delay or filming as you cannot film in the rain. This caused stress within the group because nothing seemed to go to plan as we didn't have a lot to do because we needed to film, but lucky there was a couple of days at the end of the week to film which was lucky because we thought it would carry on raining and we would get anything resolved.&nbsp; Also we had a lot of disagreeing in the group with roles, so we had a meeting and dicused&nbsp; &nbsp; it and sorted everything, this was an example of us working as a team and putting all ideas forward and resolving them like adults.&nbsp;<br><br>We presented our work on padlet and also we have started editing which we have done on a editing program.&nbsp;<br><br>In the group we need to improve on working as a team and discussing current issues more with the video so we can move on. Also making sure that we plan days to film and hit deadlines as we are not currently doing that. Which isn't our fault due to weather but we should of taken into account that this could of been as issue and sound of thought about this first. Next week the plan is to complete editing and make sure that we are helping one another and listening to make sure we finish this project.&nbsp; Mainly making sure that I am in college and being productive to get everything done. In our final product we presented our final finish music video, to improve we would need to focus more time on the editing and researching to improve our quality of our music video. Also if we had the opportunity to take out this task again I would consider improving the shots and the quality and the techniques of our product, but mainly cutting to the beat and dropping the music on the beats. Less shots and more editing needs to be considered.&nbsp;In our final production we was given feedback from people from level 3 about our final production. We mainly had good feedback how people liked the colours that we used throughout the video and effects that was used. We had feedback on what could be improved, for example some of the level 3 gave us advice on what we could do better next time, we where given adive how to improve. For example someone said we could cut to the beat better, changing the clips when the beat drops and maybe change the scene more often. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Wk 9: Task 9: Post-Production : Unit 6 (3.1)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>8.01.18<br><br>This week we discovered that we are not allowed to film in the locations that we planned to film in which was an issue because we had to try and sort something out fast. Over this week we have really been trying to find an area which is suitable for our production and setting. We all have alot of ideas but its just hard trying to work around the location.&nbsp;<br><br>There was a few barriers taken place during this week and one of them was trying to get permission to film in the locations that I originally planned to film in, which failed as we are not allowed to legally set of smoke bombs in a forest. We also haven't stated filming yet which is one of our main issues of them all as we only have very little time to do so. It seems like more and more issues are building up by the days closer to the deadline.&nbsp;<br>Show: How did you present your work outcomes? You must include photos, print screen or video for evidence.&nbsp;<br>Improve: What improvements do you need to work on? What skills have you used/learnt that you plan to apply into your work next session?&nbsp;<br>Next week I will make sure our group produces some decent filming work and start filming, also will make sure that a location is sorted into place by Monday. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>During this week my group and I have gathered everything together to help us to prepare for our music video. We have been discussing locations where to film our music video. We have all came to conclusion where to film and we have chosen to film in the local asda fields/ forest in Harlow to film our final product. The day after discussing the location we actually went down to the forest and took lots of pictures of different spots in the forest to see where would be best to film. This task helped all of us to finalise where we are going to film and how we are going to do this. This task put all of our team working skills together to decide where was best for this video. This task helped me to think of ideas for the video and location which developed my skills further.&nbsp;</div><div><br>As we all checked our the actual location and took pictures of it for evidence, there was a few minor barriers. We had a few issues and discussed when a good day would be good to film as the weather conditions where horrible because the forest was completely muddy and some was the field from all the rain. We had to take into account how we was going to work around this as the conditions could be dangerous and cause an accident. We also had to consider what day would be best just encase it rains again and makes the conditions even worst. I think its good that we all went out together to look for the location, not just one person. I am happy that we took a variety of photos because we put them onto a health and safety list for evidence of the weather conditions.&nbsp;<br><br>Below is a padlet post where everyone in the group shares there work that they have done. all the research and the evidence from our outgoing task are in there. Mainly our meetings are in there which is our main evidence of discussing our ideas. <br>As&nbsp;I am the director and my main job is to take charge, I do make mistakes. I need to make sure I am on time for college every day so I dont miss any group meetings or anything important. I think I personally need to improve on taking leadership and putting my point across a lot more to make a point. I will I have developed good team working skills within the group to listen and take everyone ideas into the group and to observe what everyone else is doing. In next weeks lesson I will make sure everyone is productive and knows exactly what to do, so everything runs smoothly. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>11.12.17<br>This week we really planned in deth and planned out how and what it going to go on in the music video and prepare for it. We also created a padlet wall to show all of our progress within the music video and make sure everything is planned out correctly. we organised when the best times to meet are and had to list health and safety notes about the weather conditions. By us having regular meetings helped my knowledge because it gives everyone a time to speak and put out there opinions and ideas about our music video. We also created a time plan to show evidence of what and where this is happening and how its going to take place.<br>&nbsp;<br>Well during this week we didn't do alot of action we really just tried to plan and sort everything out, we did this by planning and mind mapping and recording our meetings for evidence. We completed these tasks by making sure we had evidence and uploading this all to our padlet post. This week I feel was a lot more relaxed than usual, therefore we didn't really any any problems or issues in the slightest. Smallest issue we had was not being about to upload the meetings to the padlet post, but then we firgured how to sort this issue out. I am proud where we are in the project because i feel like everything is running smoothly and staying on track.&nbsp;</div><div>•<strong>Show: </strong>How did you present your work outcomes?          <title>Wk. 6: Task 6: Production Meetings: Unit 6 (1.2) &amp; Unit 4 (2.2)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>4.12.17<br><br>This week we have been having loads of meetings surrounding our music video, meetings about what is going to happen within the video. Planning the production of the video and starting to story boarding on it. We all gave our ideas about what we thought would be good ideas for the video. This task brought my creative skills out because we had to think about the music video and listen to the lyrics about what would relate in a production side of it. This challenge as a whole helped my team working skills as we all listened and respected each others ideas. &nbsp; We had ideas about using colourful flares in our music video to relate to the lyrics and the beats. I feel like I have learnt a lot from being in a group because its not individual, you have to take everyone else points of view into consideration.</div><div><br>Every meeting that we have we now record using showibe as evidence to show that we have had an discussion about our outcome. Within my team I have applied alot of skills for this to be a successful and a happy group. I have given feedback and advice when needed, for example when someone in my group had an idea I told them my opinion about that idea. I feel that our group is working well because we are all communicating and listening to each other and giving some good ideas and advice. On Monday there was an issue when choosing the song because not everyone agreed on this, but the way we over come this barrier was by looking at everyone's chosen music video and looked at the urban and nature aspect view of it and voted which one we thought suited best.&nbsp;</div><div>•<strong>Show: </strong>How did you present your work outcomes? You mustinclude photos, print screen or video for evidence.&nbsp;<br><br>&nbsp;The producer in my group produced a padlet wall for evidence that we recorded our meetings.<br>&nbsp;</div><div>What we need to improve on within our groups is being organised and listening to what tasks we actually need to complete and stay on task. Also to help each other out if they are stuck what to do with there chosen job role. I feel like i have learnt how to put my ideas forward. I think I am more focused on getting tasks complete within deadlines and getting everything done, but mainly supporting my team so no one is stuck and to help everyone out. Next lesson I am terminated to start creating our proper story board and having a clear view and idea of what we are going to be doing for the production.&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Wk. 5: Task 5: Crew Profile: Unit 4 (1.1)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>27.11.17<br><br>This week was based on research for different job robs, the research was to give us an idea of each job roll and help us decide what we want to be for our music video's. we are in groups of 4/5 and the job rolls are director, producer, camera operator and editor. As we are going to be in groups for a long time we are expected to work maturely which other members of the class. On Thursday we was put into our groups for meetings to discuss what job roles we want to do and give an explanation on a voice note to tell the group why you think you would be suited to that pathetic job role. This task helped with communication skills because we had to vent our opinions across to one another. To be in groups you really have to listen to one another and be respect and think about each job roll and see who is suited to what roll. </div><div><br>I applied communication skills and problem solving skills within some team meetings, for example two people in the group wanted to be the same job roll so the way this issue was solved was by using communication to work around the problem. We decided to share the job roles so its fair and everyone is happy.  I am proud of working in a team and trying to help plan out what is going to take place within the group and actually have a plan of what song we want to use ect. Through these activities I feel like i am gaining more confidence in the sense of putting my opinion across and getting used to the environment. Also this week we did a lot of research about each job roll and had to find research and categorise each roll which I found simple as I personally find research tasks enjoyable. <br><br></div><div>I presented my research tasks on a padlet wall to represent all my personal research about each job roll. <br><br></div><div>I think I need to work on listening to set tasks, as sometimes I feel like I am not properly forced on them and this is a barrier which I need to over come. To solve this issue I need to zone into it because I feel like that a struggle at times. From this week I personally feel like I have gained feedback skills, the reason why I  think this is because when we had to create voice notes about what job role we wanted I have everyone back a personal and direct response. Also I feel like i have gained problem solving skills, which I mentioned earlier.  During need week I am going to make it my aim that I bring more ideas from a creative aspect for our group to strive in success. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>20.11.17<br><br>For the majority of this week we have been doing group work about music because in different eras. We have also been creating mind maps about a music video that we might use for our main project. In Thursdays lesson we also did five different mind maps about 5 chosen music videos that our teacher chose for us to create mind maps. We only had to use one words for each prompt, because we made a group of mind maps it has helped me to learn how to create mind maps correctly. Mind maps weren't a hard task for me because I've learned them previously in school, which made the task even easier for myself.&nbsp;</div><div><br>As we was put into groups for a task to create a padlet wall and for each person to the group to find a music video from the different eras. The skills that i applied to this task&nbsp; was me speaking and interacting with different people in the class as i am quite shy, by me doing to helped me to gain team working skills. To work together to complete the task set.&nbsp; I have learnt how to how to work well in a team and helped me to gain for confident.&nbsp;</div><div><br>all of my mind maps i presented onto a word document. shows below.<br><br>I need to stay more confident and not worry about anything and just get on with group work, as of the way I am I find it hard, but this week I have become more comfortable which is a good think. I also need to stay more confident work and get it all done. Next lesson we are doing group work so I am aiming to stay confident and to get get on with the team working skills, I think over all I have done well considering how shy I am.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Wk. 3:Task 3: Techniques of Music Videos: Unit 4 (1.1; 2.1) &amp; Unit 6 (1.1)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>13.11.17<br><br>During this week we had to find music videos relating to line shape texture and colour that fit into the different eras. I found this task hard because it was hard to find images that where similar to my final images. This helped me develop my skills further because it has helped me to research more and look deeper into researching music videos relating to line shape colour and texture. &nbsp; . The activity of finding texture videos relating to my image was hard because I could not find videos relating to it, which challenged my knowledge. Doing research helped me develop my skills further because it will help me in the future to have research skills.&nbsp; Having a large variety of research really helps because I have evidence to back me up that I did some. Also shows that I have a clear understanding of the task. I didn't know that so many music videos are narrative music videos. &nbsp;<br><br></div><div>There was a few barriers when doing this task and the reasoning for this is because I couldnt find alot of texture videos that related to my image, I had to find tree bark in music videos for different time periods, It was a barrier to search. The way I overcome this barrier was by looking deep into it and doing more research. I did finally come across a few which made my life easier. I created a padlet wall to show where and how I found my videos.</div><div><br>This is what I did for my extension task for task 3. I used padlet to help me make and create this.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>I need to improve on searching deeper into finding music videos and being quicker at doing so, keep on track with the tasks and also finishing on time. I need to improve on writing more about the videos and being more pathetic on what I am writing about when it comes down to the videos.&nbsp;I also need to stay on task and go deeper into researching videos. Maybe using different resources to find music videos. Next week I will make sure to annotate my work better and correct things that i come across. w</div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Wk. 1/2: Task 2: Styles of Music Videos: Unit 4 (1.1; 2.1) &amp; Unit 6 (1.1)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>06.11.17<br><br>During this week our task was to search for a variety of music videos from different eras and also we had a task to find parody, commercial, narrative and live in concert videos, that had to fit into the different time periods. It wasn't a hard task so I found it quite easy. The activity of finding parody videos in different time periods was difficult as there wasn't really any on youtube which challenged my knowledge. Doing research helped me develop my skills further because it will help me in the future. Having a large variety of research really helps because I have evidence to back me up that I did some. Also shows that I have a clear understanding of the task. I didn't know that so many music videos are narrative music videos. &nbsp;<br><br></div><div>&nbsp;I completed this task by finding my research all from you tube of the music videos. I used padlet to place all my music videos into columns and I had to write a little summery of what the video was about. It wasn't hard finding you tube videos for most of the eras so I didn't really need to apply any new skills as I knew what to do.<br>&nbsp;The only barrier I struggled with, was finding parody videos for later eras like the 1970's/1980's. as it seems to be In them later years there wasn't as main parody videos has there are today in the 2000's.&nbsp; I am proud that I completed my work on time for finding the parody, commercial, narrative and live in concert videos in time.</div><div><br></div><div>This week I need to improve on keeping on top of all the work. I need to also get more research so I have loads to show for evidence and also to take more time in writing summaries. I need to do more research on parody videos in the later eras, I need to take the time in finding and researching about them even if they aren't on you tube. I have used my researching skills this week to find these videos. In my next lesson I will be keep apon all of my work that is set and to do more research and find parody videos maybe on different website's apart from you tube.&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Wk. 1. Task 1: Explore Urban &amp; Nature: Unit 4 (1.1) &amp; Unit 6 (1.1)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>30.10.17•<br>This week I have made 12 contact sheets based on urban and nature and I have also had to find pictures related to urban and nature so for example built up areas like London and for nature a forest. Creating the contact sheets helped me the most because when we first got told how to make them I forgot so this helped me because I know how to do it properly now. This week I learnt how to gather research about urban and nature which will help me with the following tasks because I'll have evidence to show that I know about urban and nature.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>Well we was set the task to choose six urban pictures and six nature images and have three separate copies of the original image and edit them and put them into a contact sheet and anatote each edited image on a contact sheet. I found this task quite challenging as it took a long time to process this 12 times which was hard to stay forced on the same image. At the end of the task it ended well as I successesful&nbsp; finished all 12 contact sheets and editing the images. I was proud that I completed that task in all one lesson.&nbsp;</div><div><br><br>I presented my work on photoshop for all the contact sheets and also the edited images on the contact sheets. example of a contact sheet is at the bottom of the screen.&nbsp;</div><div>I have learnt how to use photo shop a lot better than before and know how to create contact sheets, as before I wasn't to sure.&nbsp; In my next session I am going to be applying all my knowledge about photoshop how to use it into following session&nbsp; I have built up knowledge from previous sessions that I have applied&nbsp; into this task. I am going to keep building up knowledge and applying it to each task. I have done so much research about urban and nature before I made these contact sheets. </div>]]></description>
