I live in the beautiful beach town of Encinitas, California which is about 25 minutes north of San Diego.

Bachelors Degree

I completed my bachelors degree and credential program at the same time in a program called ICP (integrated credential program) at California State University of San Marcos.

Masters Degree

I am now in my 6th course of my master program in literacy and digital learning at USD.

Right out of college (2012/13 school year) I got my first teaching position teaching first grade at Darnall Charter School in college area.

For my second year (2013/14) I took a part time character education and art position in the Vista Unified School District until March.

In March of 2014 I was offered a contract in the Cajon Valley Union School District teaching 2nd grade for the remainder of the school year.

This past school year I was moved to Crest Elementary School still within the Cajon Valley Union School District. Crest is a Small School with only 140 students and 6 classroom teachers. I taught a 4th and 5th grade combo class with 25 5th graders and 6 4th graders.

I want to learn a lot in this class. I became very comfortable with technology and digital tools in my upper grade class but am concern about how it will work in kindergarten. I am hoping to learn about the use of techonology across grade levels.
