Gene Wilder is a comedian of comedians. He has played so many wild roles like Dr. Frankenstein, a nutty producer and a mad cap sheriff in Blazing Saddles. But his greatest role that shaped my childhood was Willy Wonka. No matter how many times I see Charlie and the Chocolate and hear Pure Imagination I can't get enough.

Forrest Gump is my vote for the best movie of all time. Why is this my pic? That is because it had an amazing characters that all had a journey in the world. Forrest was the one person that tied them all together even if his was clueless he was doing it. I often think of life like the many phases that Forrest went through, son, football star, solider, world ping pong player, and a long distance runner. Life is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you're going to get.

Many including myself and even countless musicians have been influences by the Beatles. To me they are the GOAT of the music world. One of the things that made them great was their creativity and attention to detail. John, Paul, George and Ringo listened to music from around the world and were always trying to create a unique and original sound. One of the highest honors I can say of their music is that it is timeless and will always be popular.

I think Pedro Pascal is one of the best actors today. I first saw him as Din Djarinn in the Mandolarian and I was blown away. He has also been in serious roles like Game of Thrones and Narcos. He can do comedy like The Unbearable Weight of a Massive Talent. Then I saw him in The Last of Us and I was sold. He can change with each character and even behind the Mandolorian you can feel his acting presence. This is the way...to act.

I have watched every Star Trek series (7) and movies (13) since is started in 1966. But I think Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, show number 8 is one the best they have ever made. They combine great actors, acting, and story not to mention great visuals and action. Anson Mount makes a perfect Captain Pike and leads his diverse crew into strange new worlds where no man has gone before.

Peter Parker AKA Spiderman has had many incarnations. I have loved them all for different reasons. However, I believe the Tom Hardy version is the best of all worlds. He has always been an ordinary guy with extraordinary responsibilities. When he became part of the Avengers he finally got the due he deserved for being an underdog for so long. When all the Spidermen met up in Spiderman No Way Home it really made me appreciate how unique they all were.
