In one situation last year, I was able to observe Period 1, Prep -- and our meeting time was Period 2 --- and teacher was able to make some minor adjustments for the rest of the day --- Usually it was adding more student engagement. Caution --- depending on teacher's comfort level I had to monitor how much change she could handle --- Some teachers will NOT be ready to make a change in a lesson they are already planning to teach that day.
