This symbol has been with me since I was born; wearing it on t-shirts or looking up at it every time I looked at a flag in the sky. My point? this leaf is now a significant part of who I am.  I chose this because the leaf symbolizes unity for our nation and I can't help but feel pride for our country and what we've accomplished. Hockey is a big part of Canada but also me. I chose hockey to represent me because It means so much to me, every time I went out to play with my cousin as kids and so many happy memories. Even now till this day me and my family sit down and scream at the TV during the Stanley cup playoffs it's almost like a tradition. Me and my family are really into creating traditions and annual things for our family to do every single year. One of the big ones that are never missed is our gatherings at Victoria park, every single summer I go there and me and my cousin go to that big round swing and stay on that for hours (eventually we are forced to get of because the "kids" want a turn). I can't remember a year where I didn't go to Victoria park and have cold sandwiches. This is why I chose this to represent me, because that park symbolizes fun and coming together for laughs and really that is all I'm about. In Victoria park you can live in the moment and just be stress free and happy, if there is anything I want for myself that's it. There is nothing that can make me happier than reading a good book I LOVE BOOKS. Much of the reason as to why the library is a symbol from my region that represents me. This library is surrounded by book that are available to the entire region. Borrowing these book make me happy and I know they make other people in Waterloo happy too. It also represents Curiosity, the exploration of the unknown or the unconscious. I can’t tell you how much times I have gotten in trouble for being way to curious (you know what they say curiosity killed the cat) another reason why I picked a cat is because I have a cat of my own and me and her are very similar because we both get angry when people show us too much affection ( being the youngest and all) we both can be sassy at time and like i said above we are both way to curious. Know I know a lot of people are on Netflix but I was one of the first people on the bandwagon. For me Netflix isn't just something to do when I don't feel like doing homework, Netflix is getting together with family, Netflix is laughing and screaming at the TV and if you knew me you would now that this is what I do on a consent bases.
