Hi everyone :) My name is Humna Khan, I was born in Massachusetts originally but moved to Chicago after our house burned down when I was 2 years old. I moved to Houston about 3 months ago after getting engaged and have been loving it ever since!

Academic Goals

I graduated college with a Health Science degree then went to medical school afterwards. However, I realized I over glorified medical school and that there are more ways than one to help others. I decided I wanted to implement change within the business and administration side of healthcare. I decided then and there to change career paths and work in the business administration side of healthcare. Although it was a complete career switch, I'm happy with the choice I made and hope to one day manage clinics and hospitals. I hope to change the lives of my patients through a broader spectrum.

Hobbies/Interests

In my free time, I love to spend time with my family especially my nephew! I've been especially home sick since same time last year I was away for school so I value spending time with them even more. I also love to workout, I'm trying to lose weight for my wedding next year so I'm sort of on a mission lol I also love exploring the food scene in Houston, there's so much good food!

I hope to learn managerial and administrative skills from this course alongside how to implement them. Since all this is new to me, so far I have been fascinated by how everything is connected and how building connections is key in this field. I hope to make new friends and also become more accustomed in the world of business!
