Researching other people's projects and looking at my past projects, I tried to find my style. Being this the last project of the year, I want to show my style in the final result.
I have discovered that I am connected to the most industrial area of ​​things, always discovering how they behave and where the inspiration came from making a certain functional and useful object the way it is. I then decided on making a product, and the way I found it to represent it was from Industrial Design.
The idea of ​​the end result, what was going to be at the end, was not clear in my head. It was then that when I decided to take Industrial Design books and follow designers and industrial designers in social networks, my idea began to unfold.
I realized that when I entered the world of furniture design, I was delighted with the various creative possibilities and how creative the result could be. The chairs were mainly what attracted me more attention, due to the practicality of being such a common furniture but that could unroll a creative process in creation.
Then my idea has finally made clear in my head, as the final design of the Foundation 2018 course I will create and make a chair. The Legs/structure made out of wood really got me thinking woodcraft like a method and creative way to make an object.
I could search more about the types of wood and the technique of making a wood object, if it is difficult or achievable for the time of this project.

As one of the early of the modern movement proponent, Bauhaus was confronted with a variaty of ‘ism’, from Expressionism, Cubism, Rationalism even with the Germany’s Neue Sachlichkeit, which coloured their concepts development of arts and craft and architecture. This research is intended to know the principles and The Bauhaus’s ideology, concepts and method in Architecture. This research is based its method on the rasionalistic approach with the content analysis technique, provide the principles of the master of forms of the Bauhaus likes Walter Gropius, Johannes Itten, Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Klee dan also Lazlo Moholy Nagy, to form an a frame conceptions of the Bauhaus in architecture, which consist of method, concepts and an ideology. This frame conceptions would be used to analyse three samples of the Bauhaus products in achitecture (Sommerfeld House, Haus am Horn dan Bauhaus Dessau) for its empirically indications meanings. This research shows two result in general, that there are two parts of the Bauhaus concepts in architecture; the primary Bauhaus’s concepts on architecture, including zeitgeist and gesamkunstwerk which indicated on all of their product on architecture; the rasionalistic-industrial arts, social arts and metaphysic which was an secondary concepts that could indicate their era of products. The second result of this research is, The Bauhaus as a melting pot in to which many of the ‘ism’, artistic and architectual production merged. With the melting pot, Bauhaus succeded in superimposed all ‘ism’, artistic and architectual production, as a conception of design or the education, with which, state the universally principles that co-exist with the spirit of the age (zeitgeist). The Bauhaus ideology can be considered as a dynamic, become a melting pot from the alll ‘ism’ in the Bauhaus. This research also shows that the great contribution of the Bauhaus was its duality, or better still, 'trinity', that enabled crossfertilisation of technique and arts; positivism, rationalism and romanticism, that all contributed to a coherent, albeit dynamic expression radiating an utopia."

From there evolved a 30 year journey exploring alternative, innovative ways to form and colour a variety of precious and refractive metals. A back-to-basics approach along with a good understanding and respect for mechanical construction has driven a fascination with a frame’s hinge design element. This is a constant and defining feature in the evolution of my eyewear. Son of artist parents, where his father was also a sculptor and his mother a painter, living with this universe was encouraged from the very beginning to create. At the age of nine, he made his first sculptures, a small dog and a duck, to give his parents Christmas. They were made from pieces, cut and moulded, of sheets of brass. Since then it has been noted that she was easy to create.

Despite this ease, Calder did not imagine a sculptor. He graduated in engineering in 1919 by the Stevens Institute of Technology and had several jobs as a hydraulic engineer and automobile engineer, timekeeper in a logging field, and firefighter in the room of a boiler ship.

He awoke to the artistic life after observing the dawn of a ship to which he was working, with that happening Calder would have been enchanted with what he had seen and from that moment he decided that he would become an artist.

The mobiles can mainly be made of any material and just have the creativity to assemble them. In its mobiles is used a lot of basic colours and simple geometric forms. Being a very complex object to be made, with mathematics, it is an irony to put such simple forms to "decorate" the mobile.
His work helped me see objects as parts, not as a "definitive" thing. Using deconstructed parts of, for example, chairs or a deconstructed clock can be made to create a new meaning for them.

She is well known for her large scale, often site specific, installations. Her engagement with the fragility of existence and the transformation of matter is exemplified in two key works: Dark Matter, a cartoon-like reconstruction of an exploded army shed, and Heart of Darkness, the formal arrangement of charred remains from a forest fire. There is an apocalyptic tone to much of her work but she also demonstrates a concern with the more insidious effects of global warming and consumerism.
Parker works in a variety of mediums and has collaborated with institutions such as HM Customs & Excise, Royal Armouries, Madame Tussauds and Victoria & Albert Museum, London. She was nominated for the Turner Prize in 1997. She was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2010.

After a day of reflection on the subject, I decided to talk to Leopoldo about it. It would help me with the methods part and the part related to Graphic Design.

In my conversation with him, I explained everything I had said to Ana and he told me that it would be easier if I created a method for my work.
We also think about which object to use, I decided to take a passive object, in which the function is only to propose an action and re-signify it to be an active object. I chose the Chair because besides being a passive object whose main function is just to sit, was an object that wanted to work from the beginning of the project.
