My Name is Eclass Iskandar. My dad named me after one of the chapters in the Quran, meaning

"The Sincerity". My name is a homophone to the word commonly spelled as "ikhlas".
I was born in Dubai. I'll be thirteen in 2021. I spent most of my childhood in Johor. Now, I am about to embark on a new journey, studying at KGPN, Seremban.

I have two elder sisters, two elder brothers and one younger brother. I love every one of them to bits even though we quarrel sometimes. My four elder siblings are often away from home because they're either studying or working.

WHERE shall I begin? This is my first ever digital journal. I never had the chance to try anything like this before. My parents are very particular about cyber threats. To them, flashing your personal info and private life for the world to see must be treated with caution until I'm ready to handle them.
I'm not sure if I'm ready yet, but they never stop me this time. I guess I need to thread this new exercise with care. Taking baby steps for a start.

PASTIME

I LIKE swimming, playing piano and chess. But don't get me wrong, I am no expert in any of them. I truly enjoy doing them. I can just walk past an open piano, get my fingers working on the keys (while standing), and hit some odd notes for no reason. I also quietly play some online chess and watch countless hours of YouTube videos.

HIDDEN TALENTS

Not that I am aware of, but I usually like to sketch or build things from the movie that I just watched or games that I enjoyed playing. They are far from being a masterpiece but thankfully I had some old photos that I can share with you. Apart from that, I like solving puzzles and playing memorization games.

I HAVE always been fascinated by the stars. It symbolizes magic, wonder and inspiration. It has always been my 'thing' - something I could relate to myself. be an inspiration to people around me. The stars are never what it seems to be to the naked eyes. They are beautiful in their own ways. Apart from the sun, they are mostly obscure and almost ignored by most people, except to the night voyagers. Just like the star, I never wanted to be 'loud' and 'flashy' or an attention-seeker. No, you can give that title to someone else. But I am here, always ready to be useful to those who appreciate what I have and for who I am.

A NEW LEAF

EVERYTHING was alien, new, and surreal. I was nervous and excited at the same time. That's how I summed up my experience when I first arrived at KGPN. From getting dressed in the morning, to picking up my name tag and keys at Balai Kerapatan, to strenuously dragging my luggage to the Block D Hostel, prepped up my room before finally saying goodbye to my family.
It all happened so fast, so quickly. The college's organizing committee members have truly outdone themselves. Thank you for making my transition here a breeze and painless.

I was too tired for the day to even express the kind of mixed emotions I had, but then again it wasn't that bad after all. After quite a while here, I think I got the ropes of this place. I'm gonna hang tight in here for a little bit longer.

Japan. Yes, I have always wanted to go to Japan. I'd like to see modern Tokyo, historic Kyoto, ride on their famous rail lines along its coast and countryside.

AMBITION

To be honest, I still couldn't decide and I am leaving my option, wide OPEN. There are no rules in the world saying that you must got to have an ambition at this age or that age. It is not a crime.
I'll keep you guys posted once I've found something that is very dear to my heart.

DREAM UNI

Personally, I never dreamt of any of the Universities which the adults are telling me or trying to instill in my brain... . M.I.T, HARVARD, OXFORD, YALE, STANFORD. To me, they are just a bunch of names (which I later have to google as to why people wanted me to say, I wanna go there!) .
Yes, I heard and read about some famous names (Collison, Brin, Page etc.) who graduated or simply dropped-out (Jobs, Gates, Zuckerburg etc.) from these institutions, but that will be my limit.
"I will be taking what those people did as my inspiration and precedent but not which Institutions they went to."

I will update this section once I got to know better about all these ivy league colleges. At the end of the day, I will still need to pick one or two to prepare me for my next journey.

One movie that struck me as a work of genius, vivid imagination, intricate and the amount of research that went into the making of a movie is a feature film by Disney called "INSIDE OUT". It's not the kind of movie that you'll be watching again and again though, but being able to explore, educate and have fun at the same time really impresses me.
