         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Outline of pharaoh's reign</strong></p><p>ramesses II was a pharaoh that ruled over Egypt from 1279 BCE- 1213 BCE. Ramesses II ruled over egypt before dying at the tender age of 90.  Ramesses II was the successor to Set the first and became the predecessor to pharaoh merneptah(1213BCE-1203BCE). ramesses II had a total of around 100 children (50 boys, 50 girls)  he was married to 6 spouses during his life time and son to Seti I and Tuya. he had a total of 3 siblings  Henutmire, Nebchasetnebet and Tia. he was also found to have an adopted cousin who was Moses. during his reign, he was remarked as one of the most successful pharaohs to rule, being known as egypt's most successful military campaign leader. he was known mostly for his influence on the military and their campaigns he led</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Religious policy</strong></p><p>During the reign of Ramesses II, many gods were important to his rule over the land of egypt. the first being the egyptian sun god of Ra, he is known as the creator of the universe and the Elder god. He was important to the wellbeing and thrive of egypt. the next god that is significant to ramesses II reign is the god Ra-Horakhty who was a merge of 2 ancient deities, Horus and Ra. Ra-Horakhty was portrayed as a falcon and served as the "Morning sun" for egypt. the last god is the god Ptah. Ptah was believed to have been apart of the elder gods who helped make the universe, he was god and patron of craftsmen, especially sculptors.</p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>outline</strong></p><p>Ramesses II had his building program consisting of 10,000 workers, majority being slaves. his vision of his building programs consist of multiple location built in his name. an example would be the famous building, the Ramesseum. a large monument that was constructed from the time periods 1274BCE-1244BCE. it served as a place of worship for Ramesses II. the next monument is the abu simbel temple; Built in 1264BCE, it served as a personal building for Ramesses II and his wife Nefertari. the last example of what his building program accomplished was a city called the Pi-ramesses.the city was built in the periods of 1279BCE-1213BCE. the city was built as a front for the military however it was also a place of residence for ancient Egyptians.</p><p><br></p>]]></description>

His first aspect of command was to focus on the military aspect of egypt. he commanded the military and expanded the reach of egypt to it's fullest. His second priority of governing over egypt was through his worship to the gods. his worship started with with building the ramesseum where he would worship the god of Ra. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Ramesses II external administration over territories is why he is remarked as one of the greatest pharaohs in Egyptian history. his most favourable aspect of external administration would start with his military campaigns and his influence over neighbouring territories. these territories include: modern day israel, Palestine, Jordan, Libya and the modern day Nubian region. these territories were results of his military campaigns and their success. these territories were run by governors of Egypt known formally as the "Kings' sons". his most notable enemies were the Hittites. he campaigned against them multiple times before we would sign a peace treaty with them ending their conflict.</p>]]></description>
