Whenever the story comes to its peak, where the feelings, drama, and emotion is strong, I would take a break and listen to music first. I don't why I do it but it somehow calms my excitement.

Recommended book is The Witch Tree Symbol from the Nancy Drew collection. Best mystery book I've read so far!

During the first few months of the lockdown, unresolved issues that lowered my self-esteem arose. Pre-pandemic, I used to spend time with friends to ignore what was pending. As a result, the uncertainty of being able to escape this turmoil once again was nerve-wracking. I distanced myself from people and found myself in a corner with my books. I picked one up and almost instantly got hooked.

It did well when I was interested in the book; my overall mental capacity was relatively better. In 11th grade, I recollected lessons and presented ideas effortlessly.

So, if you ever thought about a world where chaos barely exists, I recommend that you read "The Giver" by Lois Lowry.

"Vivid" is a wattpad story written by "MonochromeBlue".

In this story the world was ruled by mayhem due to an event called the "Disaster" which caused "Miasma Storms" that brought existence to human destroying beasts called "Miasmic Beasts".During the Disaster large pillars arose which were later called the "Walls"that was called humanity's last hope for survival. In this world people were separated in to two categories, Insiders who were fortunate enough to be inside the Walls when it arose and Outsiders who were unfortunate to be outside the Walls when it arose. Outsiders don't have the walls to protect them unlike the Insiders but due to an evolution Outsiders have developed supernatural capabilities in which they use to defend themselves against the world of mayhem they live in. But Insiders took the Outsiders developing supernatural capabilities as a huge threat to the point they have decided to exterminate the Outsiders.

Kae is our young male protagonist who is an Outsider but unlike others he hasn't developed his own power.
He also has three siblings.
An older brother named Cody, a younger sister named Ann and his youngest brother named Markus.

This story basically revolves around Kae trying to find his lost siblings,Cody and Ann who got separated from him during the war between Insiders and Outsiders.

But Kae has a problem.

One thing I've discovered about myself when reading is that I love to re-read lines that I find particularly wonderful till they satisfy me. It thrills me and makes me feel like I'm the main character because I keep visualizing the scene. I also tell my auntie the story because I can't keep it to myself. The story/scene was simply too fantastic not to share. I don't think it's just me. Another habit I have when reading novels is that I do not rush through them since I want to cherish every line written in the book.

I read The Silent Patient when I was on a mystery book reading spree. I saw its positive reviews and decided to give it a try. It might be confusing to follow because its plot jumps from past to present, but when it reached its climax, everything merged and made sense to me. The twist is almost unpredictable, especially for me who's read lots of books in the mystery genre. This was one of the books that genuinely made my jaw drop.

As the debut novel of its author, I think he's very impressive in his craft. I love this book and will definitely read his other books too.
