The amount of money big ai is losing from research is quite insane. losing lots of money. no exact path to make them profitable

AI 2027 is talking about AGI, which is that AI will be as intelligent as humans by 2027 (or soon after).

LLMs are a dead end. They have been very useful, but have fundamental limitations. LLMs do not think. They use statistics to predict the next word of a sentence.h

I don't think this scenario is likely to happen within 2 years, maybe in 100 years. This is because I don't think the government would let it get this far, and no one wants the human race to die so they would try to make it as safe as possible.

I think there's a possibility that AI becomes adversial and the human race becomes extinct. But I feel like humans will do a better job at mitigating this new AI and more people would detect evidence of this AI's "betrayal"

It is likely for this scenario to happen, but more in the future. Eventually we'll reach agent 0 which will then turn into agent 1, agent 2, agent 3, and finally agent 4.

Then, depending on how poor or great relationships are between countries, then it will change whether or not AI will kill everyone or be shut down. Executives will say yes to keep AI if a country they are on bad terms with is close to making a good AI or matching their level of AI. This will then lead to the AI go boom byebye world. Otherwise, humans will go byebye AI.

AI is already showing signs of adversary and having its own goals. Furthermore, it has the ability to install itself into laptops. Therefore, it probably also has the ability to bypass human and its trying to do so. Therefore, it will probably develop secretly even if humans try to stop it.
