I have been longing to send a letter to you but it has been delayed by Sergant Horrible Hanley but let’s not talk about him let’s talk about the good things like about how all my school freind shave entered the army the whole “Skittle team”.
Charlie has been taking care of me most of the time and also stood up for me like you did mother against the colonel for us mother I will always remember you as a great savior. In France everything is really nice except the fact about the sergant he      
Is like the silly old fart here we also get these amazing uniforms which makes feel amazing like I’m strong on the battlefield the first few attempts of us going into dead mans land failed but it was fine in the end .....well for a few us but staying has made me grow my personality even more it’s like I have a second family here but I will never forgot  you and also I feel like singing oranges 
and lemon with big joe and you mother.i want to about more but the sergant is calling me so goodbye mother and big joe

How are you? And Molly and Big Joe? Are the Colonel and Grandma Wolf giving you a hard time? Everything here is great, but I miss you and Big Joe... We are training every day and we are well treated and nourished. We all have tents to sleep in and we always sleep well. The war seems far off here and it feels like it’ll never arrive. There are a lot of familiar faces here from home; Nipper Martin, Pete Bovey and Little Les James. It’s nice to see people we know, it helps it feel more like home.  Charlie has been good so far, I’ve kept him out of trouble and he’s kept me out of it too. We all feel likefamily here. But we also feel like we are in some kind of rehearsal, actors in costume. We have to stab dummies pretending they are the hun, but its very unrealistic. I’ m not complaining though, it’s better than fighting the real war. The uniforms they gave us are great, the even have room for growing, which is good because mine already fits me a bit tightly and I’ve only been here a few weeks. We enjpy everyday and not one day passes where we don’t laugh. My pnpy complaint woul be the sentry duty, and thats only because it deprives us from our precious hours of sleep.

How are you? I hope the Colonel isn’t giving you a hard time. Training for war has been decent so far, apart from the fact that I’m a little home sick. We all sleep in tents and have food to eat. Every day, we wake up and practice for the war.  Even though it’s just stabbing dummies and digging trenches, it’s a lot better than actually going to France and fighting in the war. Everything is great here: we have uniforms, food to wake up to and training for war. Charlie has been keeping an eye on me to make sure I don’t get into trouble. As am I. Charlie and I have been as close as ever. It’s great having Charlie with me, it gives me hope. We do know some people from home: Little Les James, Nipper Martin and Pete Bovey. It makes us feel better about being here and reminds us about home. Let’s hope we don’t have to go fight the war soon. I can’t wait to see you again. I miss you so much...

The training is backbreaking, but I know the war will be over soon. I dream that you, Big Joe, Charlie, Molly and I will soon be home, where outside the sun will be warm and where we will all be singing oranges and lemons. Though our uniforms are very ill-fitting on the bright side they are very roomy. We have to dig trenches and do harsh training. How are you, is everything good, well it is over here, besides the hard training everything is as perfect as they said it would be. France is beautiful. Yes, it’s also true that they have a tower that reach the clouds, I’ve been there. There isn’t much fighting either, it’s practically like a build battle, who can dig their trench first. The army is great. The uniforms are baggy but their not that bad.There are a few folks from our area. Charlie and I stick together like glue . We are bot doing fine. We get tired sometimes but thes toning a nap can't do. It's hard work and training but if it means I can protect England and mostly my family it's all worth it.

Dear Mother and Joe,

I missed you mother, I missed your soothing soft hands touching my face. I can 
almost feel it again. I’ve obviously missed you too Joe, how is everything doing? I can’t wait till I’m back to see you again. Everything here is fantastic, we’re eating well, sleeping well and we’ve also met a few people who we knew from school. Charlie is doing great too, we’ve been very close. Closer than we used to be. I’m sure Charlie misses you too mother, same goes to you Joe. We’ve been training for awhile and it’s very stressful  and harsh, other than that we’re getting used to it. Our uniforms are hardly close to perfect, they’re big and oversized. We have been switching uniforms with others until we found our perfect size. Not to mention the boots are huge and don’t fit so well. It’s heavy and it reminds me of when I first went to school. I’ve been having trouble with the boots but that doesn’t matter. Charlie and I have recognized, Pete, little les James, nipper Martin and many more. They seem very busy and serious about war. We’ve been required to do a few things like sentry duty or practicing stabbing dummies, I’ve got to say it’s very fun thinking of people as the dummie. It’s very stress releasing. Doing night duty wasn’t that interesting. We would just sit there staying awake and no danger really has happened yet. How is everything back in England? How’s the sillly old fart? of course the colonel. Is he still with Grandma? I hope everything back there is great. I will be sending a few more letters since it’s been very interesting here. Tell Joe that I miss him a lot and that I hope we could all sing oranges and lemon again together as a family.

Hello Mother,how are you? is everything good over at you.I have missed you so much since the day I left and I really want to come back home.but not about that. Here the army is fantastic. A lot of the people their are very good and I do not appreciate him and he is called Hanley. No one likes him in the army. but Charlie hates him so much.He is very cruel and evil.Oh forgot about Charlie he is doing very well and he has been training well.But everyone hates the training and punishments such as making us go around in a circle holding our gun up.the training is well but, stressful and kind of cruel and quite makes you think disguisted. Such as stabbing mannequins.About the uniforms they are quite big but we are getting bigger and the clothes get mote fit on us.same with the boots. So that is it here. How is everything going? Is everything good? If you are wondering how I am, I am good, so as Charlie. Charlie and I are always sticked together and looking out for each other. Charlie and I worked hard, they taught us hoe to make trenches, how to shoot a gun and other stuff and it was really tough but it is okay because it is all going to be worthless when we see you and Big Joe again. They made us wear uniforms that don’t fit us and that are not what I quite expected but I stil like it. Everything is going well right now, the fritz didn’t attack us yet and when they do we are going to be ready. We met some familiar faces when we got in the army like Little Les James and Nipper Martin. One day all of us are going to reunite and be one family. I wish both of you the best.

Its been a while since i’ve seen you. I am really missing both of you very much. Over here in the army nothing has gone too crazy and there have been barely any attacks. Me and charlie are both safe. Horrible Hanley was a big problem (our Captian). He put on night duty and we barley got sleep but we went through that faze without getting in trouble even though he picked on charlie alot. Now we are in france and everything is fun. Our Captian is kind and we have really good, trustworthy friends. I hope everything is alright and you and Joe are keeping up well.

How are you doing back home?  
How's Big Joe? Is Molly okay? Charlie and I are doing great. We train for war everyday, and it's actually not so bad. We are treated very well and we get three proper meals. We even sleep in tents and it is very comfortable. 
Do you remember Nipper Martin, Pete Bovey and Les James the son of Bob James? They are all here as well.  It's nice having people I know here because it makes me feel less home sick. 
The uniforms are great although they're a bit loose, but that's fine because you grow everyday right? They're not the scarlet uniform that I was hoping to wear but they're still fine.
Charlie is taking good care of me and we are staying out of trouble. He is a great and very caring older brother. Even the people we're working with respect Charlie a lot.
Everyday we wake up early and train intensely. Our sergeant is not the best but it will be good for us later when "it" actually starts.
What are the Colonel and Wolfwomen up to?

How's England? I miss you all so much! Is everything okay?
Training isn't that bad but I just want to be back home in the sunshine like how it used to be. Since we got here, we've just been doing drills and exercises.

 Oh yeah! You'll never guess what! Remember Nipper Martin and Pete Bovey? They're here as well! I'm not sure if you remember him but Les James is here too, the son of Bob James. Ring any bells? Its nice to catch up with each other after all this time but we are too busy with training to really "catch up". At the moment, we're learning how to march in sync and salute in time.

Charlie and I try to stay out of trouble but its quite hard when we have Sergeant Hanley breathing down our necks... He's sort of like the Colonel but worse... How is the Colonel and Wolfwoman Grandma Wolf? Are they still giving Molly a hard time? Tell Molly I miss her too. It might not seem like it but I do. I really do.

Apparently, next week we're due to head out to the front which Charlie and I are excited about. I wish I could go on and on but the Sergeant is calling me and I can't risk getting into trouble.

Oh Mother, I am unable to comprehend how much I yearn to see your soft features and kind nature. Thankfully, most of our training is quite decent and our living state is acceptable. Nonetheless, everything is going fine and dandy. We're getting through the days and catching up with some familiar faces. You all remember little Les James, Nipper Martin and Pete Bovey, right? They're all pretty exceptional young men. Although, the Captains aren't exactly what you would call "lenient" or "nonchalant". But, life here in France is just that. So far, it's been sail across a smooth river. Unfortunately, I can't say we all know or can expect what is to come. No need to worry about Charlie and I misbehaving; Charlie is keeping me in line. Well, that makes no sense whatsoever, I guess it's the opposite actually--he's rightfully earned himself sentry duty. Enough about me ranting and raving, how's life back home? I hope it's all tickety-boo. I must ask, albeit I hate mentioning their atrocious names out of pure will, how are the Colonel and Grandma "Wolf"? I can assume they are having, what we would class as a bore, an amazing time together. Might I say, how are things with Molly's pregnancy? Feeling sick much? How hopeful Charlie is that, one day soon, he will be able to hold his child, nurture it, care for it. I hope someday I'll be lucky enough -- and alive enough -- to start my own family. But I must stay optimistic, I'm living on nothing but a shred of hope that I can stay alive, please, pray for all the best here in France. I love you all and wish the best.
