Hawaii became the 50th state at august 21, 1959.Was hawaii forced to become a state? yes, the marking the end of over half a century of work for Hawaiianstatehood. Hawaii's annexation in 1898 had much to do with the power of American plantation owners on the islands and the protection of their financial interests. Hawaii was ruled by they queens and kins and the monarchs but the state took that away from them when they became the 50th state and it has evolved to having governers and senators and etc.

Captain Hook arrived in hawaii in January ,1778 and discovered the unknown Hawaiian islands. Captain hooked sailed through the Tasmania or South Pacific islands. Captain Hook had two ships and found a resolution discovery he reach the unknown Hawaiian islands. He encountered the natives and the natives thought that  captain hooks was gods and his men supernatural beings. On February 14, 1779 Captain Hook was killed on his third visit to hawaii the natives killed Captain Hook. Queen Liliuokalani died November 11, 1917 we celebrate her on her death because she was the first person to ever ruled hawaii. She got overthrown from her power because queen Liliuokalani  was arrested for her alleged role in the coup and convicted of treason, while under house arrest, the queen agreed to formally abdicate and dissolve the monarchy. Who overthowed her? it was stanford B. The Bombing of Pearl Harbor happened in December 7, 1941. The japanese did a secret attack on pearl harbor. Why did they attack it was because The Japanese attack had several major aims, first it intended to destroy important American fleet units then thereby preventing the Pacific Fleet from interfering with Japanese conquest of the Dutch East Indies and Malaya and to enable Japan to conquer Southeast Asia without interference. The bombing of Pearl Harbor had affected ww2, they destroyed many ships and killed many soldiers.
