They found that each of the 5 conditions of disgust are relevant. People said the brown stain was more disgustng than blue, disgust was constant across countries, females rated things more disgusting, sensitivity to disgust decresed with age, and people were less likely to share a tooth brush with a stranger.</div>]]></description>

Another problem is that explanations for behavior are difficult to test. These can relate to behavior because we cannot prove it effects evolution if we do not know for sure that it is real. also behaviors such as disgust are hard to test.</div>]]></description>

They found that certain things, such as the towel with the blue stain,  were less disgusting consistently across cultures. It was also found that females rated disgusting things higher and older people weren't as sensitive to disgusting things. This study shows how all 5 conditions for the evolutionary explanation of disgust were met. </div>]]></description>
