         <description><![CDATA[<div>TPE/SLO reflection&nbsp;</div><div>SLO 3.1&nbsp; TPE 4 Understanding learning: the candidate demonstrates an understanding of how students differ in their approaches to learning and creating instructional opportunities that encourage empathetic, culturally relevant engagement in learning supporting the belief that all children can benefit from an education. While teaching and observing students in the visual performance art subject I could see the teacher and myself creating an environment for creative learning by giving creative instruction. I learned that creativity can still be a part of the common core state standards as long as it aligns correctly. These standards don’t have to hold teachers back from teaching the students in a creative way.&nbsp;</div><div>Biblically, teaching VAPA in a creative setting with a creative setting has opened my eyes and heart to see the conversations that can open up with the children in giving them a hope through art, music, dance. VAPA is an uplifting subject that helps children see how big our world is because it includes different cultures, country, tradition, genres.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>SLO 3.1 TPE 1.4 the candidate demonstrates an understanding of how students differ in their approaches and creates instructional opportunities that encourage empathetic, culturally relevant engagement in learning supporting the belief that all children can benefit from an education. During P.E observations and lesson planning it was evident that this subject is implemented so all students can participate and feel a part of a team. The teachers were able to be empathetic while teaching the P.E lesson because they were aware that all students will have their own skills and be on different levels when it comes to their physical abilities. The PE. Subject was sensitive to all students abilities and could be accommodated depending on the students delay. Biblically, this subject and the lesson planning reflects the open mindedness of diversity and to show unity through the teamwork that takes place during P.E.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
