Teacher in charge of European Project of the Istituto Comprensivo Torgiano Bettona.
I am a primary school teacher. I love my job very much and following my involvement in our Erasmus + project "... e quindi uscimmo a riveder le stelle" I started to get more passionate about the study of the sky and all the phenomena connected with it. I believe it is essential to stimulate our students to be actively involved in the defense of our country, our resources, art and culture. Beauty will save the world but I hope the world will save beauty!

Hi! My name is Barbara and I teach English in Passaggio di Bettona Secondary School. I love foreign languages very much, I studied French and German, too. I have also taught children with special needs for seven years.

My students are 11 to 13 years old and two classes (1B and 3A) are involved in the Light Pollution Project.
I'm really pleased to help my Science and Geography collegues in trying to get our students involved in the activities. My aim is to demonstrate to my young learners that English is not only the subject they are studying at school but it is one of the means they have to share their ideas, meet new people and help to do something important.

Thanks!
Barbara

Hello everyone!

My name is Sara and I’m a teacher of Italian, History and Geography. I’m new in the School and this year I’m teaching a 6th grade (class 1B) and a 7th grade (class 2A).

I’m super excited to take part in this project with my class 1B students!

Reducing light pollution is possible and I guess I can say that if we all do our best, we will really make the difference. It is just a matter of learning what to do and what not to do. A five-STAR manual with some guidelines might be a very useful resource for everybody. What I believe to be really useful, though, is discussing together, as an opportunity of personal growth, exchange and learning.

Thanks,

Sara
