Why students can not master English

Hello, everyone!Today I decided to consider such an important issue, why students and pupils can not master English perfectly?😞I thought about this, because our future profession is based on English. I noticed that inadequate knowledge of the language and vocabulary prevents people from freely speaking and communicating in the language of study. I wondered what the reasons for that were?😐 Looking for answers to this I came across an article called "11 reasons for the lack of progress in English" Here I conducted the most interesting causes,in my opinion:👇
1.The first and most important reason is the low assessment of the ability for languages.Of course,I agree with this statement, because I myself say that "I do not have the ability-to judge themselves-I taught at university,at school and did not learn to speak.😕
2.Lack of motivation. It seems that you realize the imprtance of learning English and understand the benefits, but then you are bored, then you need to do other things. Is it a familiar situation?😉
3. Irregularity of classes. You think " I study once a week, but three hours! I will rest a month, and then I will do English. You think,if I do not do today,it will not be anything terrible". How long did you have breaks in classes?
One solution to these problems is that teachers should encourage students, maintain a friendly atmosphere and believe in students that they will succeed and will get better.👍

How to choose methods

In my point of view, also one of the most problem of this situation is that teachers and students can not choose right and effective methods. There are two main methods: communicative ( without any translation to the native language) and another based on grammar. Mistake is we try to choose one of them, but I think we should combine them if we want to see result. It is noticeable if you are beginner it is not properly refuse explanation on you native language. But if you have pre-intermediate level and higher you should try to speak only in English. Communicative exercises are very significant part in speaking. For instance, spontaneous mologues can be beneficial for improving speaking skills but not learned in advance. It is also should be noted, choice of methodical manuals plays crucially important role in learning procces. Unfortunately, very often we utilize inappropriate books with incorrect content, therefore it is very important scrutinize variety of training AIDS before you start learning. According to the specialist, the best of them are Oxford, Longman, Macmillan and Cambridge. To sum up, try to pay attention on all aspects of you study and you will be succefull. Good luck and believe in yourself!

Some tactics of motivating students
In teaching sphere the most difficult task the teacher may face with is how to motivate students the right way. There are two types of motivation:

Intrinsic motivation is a force that comes from within a person. People are intrinsically motivated when they enjoy doing an activity.

Extrinsic motivation is a desire that comes from outside of a person. People are extrinsically motivated when they are eager to gain a reward like a prize or an excellent mark.

So, teacher should focus on motivation students intrinsically rather than extrinsically. Encourage their present desire to learn language.
Here are given some tactics which will lead to involve students to learn language:

Make more language practice. Students want to know the purpose behind what they’re doing. So make some activities like:

Project - based learning. In this activity students are doing some researches in order to find the solution to problem using language knowledge.

Role - playing. By giving students real-life situations, they will have a great chance to practice their skills.

2. Make class fun. When children are having fun, they will be more engaged in the process of learning.

Use social media in class. Give them a task to write short posts for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram or start a class blog.

Use pop culture. Use movies, music magazines in listening and reading activities. Give a task to write a summary or review for a film.

Gamify your lessons! Let’s be honest, everybody loves playing games. Moreover it is highly effective way to teach vocabulary and use grammatical structures.

3. Give Feedback. Always consider feedback carefully. It is really important to give positive feedback, like compliments and encouragement, as well as criticism. However when you give criticism, it is better to deliver it along with positive comments. It is easier to hear criticism followed by something good. Use peer feedback and self-evaluation.
Motivating children is a part of our future job. So, our goal is to develop their intrinsic motivation for success even outside the classrooms
