Art help express their thoughts and feelings. It helps a child communicate, by telling us what colours they what, or where to put the pieces.

ECE workers can support this by, talking to the child, asking them what colours they want to use, or where they want to place the pieces of paper. They can also talk to the child asking them if it makes them happy or sad. Also ask them who they are doing their art project for.

Colleen

Drawing shapes and making it colourful. By ECE workers support, we talk about what is on their mind, helping them draw it on paper and what colour they would like to see.
