Anusha - My dad's father forced him to work in his field with him but my dad wanted to pursue education so he studied and became what he wanted. For my mom, her parents wanted to study so she did and then made her marry.

Maymuna - My mother was pushed to be a doctor but thankfully, my father swooped in and was like, "nah." Anusha -  My parents grew up not that modern. Their families are very religious and not modern so they grew up like them. For me, I grew up kind of modern because i lived in foreign countries since childhood but also with my families cultures. 

Maymuna -  I was never pushed to a specific career or ambition, my parents are very laid back, and sure they want me to have good grades, but even if I fail they don't mind at all. Maymuna - They expect me to not be an idiot. They want me to be to have the basic abilities and be independent. They don't have many expectations concerning education, so I'm off the hook for now.

Both my mom and dad were born around the south of Thailand. My mom came to Bangkok to study, she was a very brilliant student. I don't really know much about my dad, all I know is that he traveled to
Bangkok to work.

Both of my parents grew up having to help their parents (my grandparents) with work at a young age. I'm not too sure, but I think my mom grew up in Bangkok. My dad, on the other hand, grew up in Chonburi (a province outside of Bangkok). Both of my parents attended school and graduated college. My mom attended her first two years of college in Thailand and spent her later years abroad in the US. My dad attended and graduated college here in Thailand.
