         <description><![CDATA[<div>Grammar: Expand nouns into noun phrases<br><br>For HAL students: By examining 2 lists of nouns and noun phrases, pupils observe that adjectives are added before head nouns (the green book)&nbsp;<br><br>whereas noun phrases are added after the head noun (the stem of the tall sunflower) and relative clauses are added after the noun (the garden where Ruby and Spider played)<br><br>Tiered activity: Give pupils a list of scrambled noun phrases instead of a categorised list. HAL students will categorise the noun phrases according to premodifiers (adjectives) and postmodifiers (noun phrases and relative clauses)</div>]]></description>
