Assalammualaikum and hello! for week 1, we had 3 agendas which is to intro ourselves and Sr. Syurfa then proceed to tell and ask us the Adab in seeking knowledge and Adab of the Quran.

Since we had the meeting offline, it's shame that we could not look at each others fae directly but the taaruf session went fine and smoothly, Then we proceed to the topic for week 1.

Adab in seeking knowledge

Firtsly, we discussed about adab from our own perspective in general. I describe The main purpose of seeking knowledge is to bring us closer to our creator Allah Almighty. Also, we dive deep into adab in seeking knowledge where it is to bring respectful to teachers, lecturer and whoever teach us something regardless of their background.

Adab of the Quran

Adab of the Quran is important to learn. My usrah members explain each points they chose. I descibe which is : To have wudu when reciting. One of the main etiquettes with the Qur’an is to be in a state of wudu before touching the mushaf, as Allah says: “None touch it except the purified.” (al-Waqi‘ah: 79) and as the Prophet ﷺ said: “None should touch the Qur’an except one who is pure.” (Muwatta’ Malik). It is also recommended to face the qiblah as a sign of respect and to recite with tartil, slowly and clearly (al-Muzzammil: 4).

that's all from me, thank you!

Assalammualaikum and hello! for week 4, we had 2 agendas which is present our role play and talk about 3 belief we should learn.

BELIEF IN QADA’ AND QADAR

Firstly, we talk about belief in qada' and qadar. Belief in pre-destination (Qada and Qadar) is one of the articles of faith in Islam. A person is not a believer without this pillar This belief leads to contentment and satisfaction, even in the face of hardship and adversity. Faith in pre-destination is implied by Allah's attribute of nourishing and sustaining the whole universe. Allah SWT says in Surah Al Qamar; (54:49) Verily, We have created all things with Qadar (Divine Preordainments of all things before their creation, as written in the Book of Decrees Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz).

BELIEF IN RASUL AND ANBIYA

Secondly, we talk about belief in Rasul and Anbiya. The messengers of Allah were raised to every nation, and all of them brought essentially the same religion which is Islam. As Allah says in Surah Al-Baqarah;285: “The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and (so have) the believers. All of them have believed in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers, (saying), “We make no distinction between any of His messengers. “And they say, “we hear and we obey. (We seek) Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the (final) destination.”

BELIEF IN THE HEREAFTER

Lastly, we talk about belief in the hereafter. The fifth article of Islamic Faith is belief in life after death. A person is not a believer without the belief in this pillar The Prophet SAW has directed us to believe in the Day of Judgement and resurrection after death. Allas SWT says in Surah al-Baqarah;(2:2); And who believe in what has been revealed to you, (O Muhammad), and what was revealed before you, and of the hereafter they are certain (in faith).

that's all from me, thank you!

Assalamualaikum and hello ! For this week, we learn about adab and Ihsan. t derives from the root word : ب دأ- to refine, to educate, todisciplineIt denotes a habit, an etiquette, a manner of conduct, a custom, refinement, good breeding, good manners, social graces, decorumetc.Adab refers to good manners, morals, and appropriate actionsderived from the teachings and instructions of Islam.

Adab is not just a quality – it is also a process.it is something that can be learnt and established

Ihsan

Islam provides a clear conception of why people were created, what constitutes righteous living, and what happens after death. In fact, Islam covers not only a set of rules and beliefs but also contains the highlights of constant self-improvement. Muslims have been taught how to grow closer to the Creator, to become excellent worshippers and moral persons, to the point that their will and the Will of Allah S.W.T. become perfectly aligned. This achievement is known as Ihsan or religious excellence.Allah S.W.T. says in Surah al-Nahl16: 90; إ ِنٰ ـ َ سْ حِ ْلْٱ َ و ِ لْ د َ عْلٱِ ب ُ ر ُ مْ َ يَ َ َّ للَّٱ َّن ىِ ذ ِئٓا َ تيِ إ َ و ٱ َٰ ب ْ رُ قْل ِنَ ع ٰ ىَ هْ ـن َ ـي َ و ٱ ِ ءٓا َشْ حَ فْل َ وٱ ِرَكن ُ مْل َ وٱ ِىْ غ َ ـبْل ۚ ْ مُكُظِ ع َ ي َنو ُ رَّكَذَ ت ْ مُكَّ ل َ عَل “Indeed, Allāh orders justice and good conduct and giving [help] to relatives and forbids immorality and bad conduct and oppression.

Assalammualaikum and hello everyone! for my week 2, we learn about reasons & sources of hikmah from ibadah. So, what I learn about reasons & sources of hikmah from ibadah is under the topic have prayer, fasting, zakat, and hajj. Under prayer, we have goal of prayer : prayer restrains from immorality and wrongdoing, relation between prayer & restrainment, and effectiveness of the prayer.

Fasting :

ﻢُﻜِﻠْﺒَﻗ ﻦِﻣ َ ﻦﯾِﺬﱠﻟا ﻰَﻠَﻋ َ ﺐِﺘُﻛ ﺎَﻤَﻛ ُ مﺎَﯿﱢﺼﻟا ُ ﻢُﻜْﯿَﻠَﻋ َ ﺐِﺘُﻛ اﻮُﻨَﻣآ َ ﻦﯾِﺬﱠﻟا ﺎَﮭﱡﯾَأ ﺎَﯾ نﻮُﻘﱠﺘَﺗ ْ ﻢُﻜﱠﻠَﻌَﻟ “O you who believe, fasting has been prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may attain piety (taqwa).”

under fasting we have past generations, goal of fasting: journey towards taqwa, and difference between fasting & other deeds in terms of bounties.

Zakat:

نِإ ۖ ْ ﻢِﮭْﯿَﻠَﻋ ﱢ ﻞَﺻَو ﺎَﮭِﺑ ﻢِﮭﯿﱢﻛَﺰُﺗَو ْ ﻢُھُﺮﱢﮭَﻄُﺗ ً ﺔَﻗَﺪَﺻ ْ ﻢِﮭِﻟاَﻮْﻣَأ ْ ﻦِﻣ ْ ﺬُﺧ ٌ ﻢﯿِﻠَﻋ ٌ ﻊﯿِﻤَﺳ ُ ﱠ ﷲَو ۗ ْ ﻢُﮭﱠﻟ ٌ ﻦَﻜَﺳ َ ﻚَﺗ َﻼَﺻ “Take from their wealth a charity by which you purify them and cleanse them, and pray for them. Indeed, your prayer is a source of reassurance for them. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.”

under zakat, we have reason for the revelation of the verses: Tabuk War which is Madinah (Rejab) to Tabuk (Syaaban) and 30000 Muslim, some munafiqin. Other than that, goal of Zakat is developing by purifying & cleansing.

Hajj:

So whoever undertakes Hajj during them, there is to be no sexual relations, no disobedience, and no arguing during Hajj. Whatever good you do—Allah knows it. And take provision, but indeed the best provision is piety (taqwa). So be mindful of Me, O people of understanding.

Lastly, under hajj we have goal of hajj which is manifestation of total devotion to Allah and preparation of the servant for the Hereafter.

that's all from me, thank you!
