And it makes it worst because it was the most addicting substance to a  man. In 1985 media reports focused mainly on the idea of "crack babies" says the article and that just draws more attention to everything i feel like they started mass incarcerations from that because that what they mostly headlined.

For example, the article says" Though we may not remember it now, 1980s media played up the idea that crack was spreading throughout the country, including affluent suburbs...heavy crack remained mostly confined to to impoverished neighborhoods." Sensationalist media ignores facts that could reveal the truth to the issue; it's all about views, and money. There's no truth in sensationalist media, and if the public follows this type of coverage alone, then there's no way for truth to be brought to light.
