However, it is impossible to ignore the economic prosperity of the Roaring 20's caused by non-interventionism.

The government should intervene in the economy because if they don't they can get out of control. One example of this is that in 1870s the government had no authority in the banks and the stock market. This happened because those who owned the banks and such had a very close relationship with those who were in government and they made it so that they were able to stop the government from controlling what they do. They were able to easily make risky transactions with other people's money. This had a very negative effect on the economy and this is in a direct response of the government not taking control of the US economy

Federalism has been a positive influence in the lives of American people to the extent that it enables the government to step in and provide actual help. During the Great Depression, work programs established by FDR greatly increased employment and prosperity in times of economic failure, which is a direct example of the federal government itself helping the people. However, federalism did not help minorities for most of its history, so it's important to establish that people of color will especially be targeted by federal racism, as it has happened historically even when the government was supposed to be helping the people.

Based on what I learned about in Unit #3 to a large extent the government should intervene in the economy. The government has the most amount of power and authority over what can be done to change countries and evolve them to better fit the beliefs that they abide by. For instance within the U.S during the time of the Great Depression, that was where the government was the most involved and took action as there was a massive economic crisis that caused the U.S to experience hardship in every aspect. The government including FDR input with adding new policies and laws to attempt at helping the people contributed to success in fixing the economy's status. Showing that the government needs to use its power to improve the state of the countries.

The New Deal should be remembered as a time that rebuilt the economy and helped the people get back on their feet after the Great Depression. We shouldn't forget the fact that it didn't help all people because the New Deal seem to have been made for white people specifically men and not for African American and Latinos instead of everyone.

One of the most significant legacies of the New Deal was the regulations placed on banks and the stock market. Leading up to the Great Depression, investors would often be manipulated due to a lack of oversight from the government. However, during the New Deal, the government worked towards protecting people's money in the bank and prevented the deception investors faced in the stock market through the SEC.

The most significant legacy of the New Deal is how it urged the government to take action towards helping shape the economy. With the New Deal the government was in charge and the citizens needed them to make change for the better. This showed the importance of the government and how their power helped build the U.S. Today the New Deal should be remembered as a point in time that improved the standards of the U.S economically politically, and socially but also exposed the flaws that still need to be combated and dealt with today. The New deal was the stepping stone for their to be a more just and equal government.
