Increase heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, and alertness.
Drug effects on the brain: Addiction most likely occurs when taken in doses and routes other than those prescribed by a doctor. Also, rapid rise is present on the dopamine in the brain. When stimulants are abused there are side effects when not being able to take the drug such as : fatigue, depression, and disturbed sleep patterns. Therefore someone may keep on taking it so they won't have the after results. Another problem that can hurt your body when taking stimulates is when pills are crushed and injected, they can block small blood vessels, so you have the chance of noting having thorough blood circulation.
